Q: Is this the original scent back in 1998?

I believe it is...I've never stopped wearing it! I bought 35 bottles when it was discontinued wy back then...which lasted me till it returned briefly years later for Valentine's Day. promotion. Then I loaded up on it again until it appeared in the new packaging in Great Britain. I loaded up on it again. And I switched to this version with the new packaging, and have been wearing it ever since. It is still "my" scent and just as exquisite. I never fail to receive compliments when I am wearing it. I will be devastated if I am unable to continue wearing it throughout my life!! So, I answer, yes, as far as I know.. So, by all means, go for it! And enjoy it again!

There was a different packaging many years ago. But then the perfume disappeared from the stores. So I was thrilled to fine that this one is exactly the same wonderful fragrance that it used to be.
