After buying many small bottles of coconut nectar for $8-9, I took the plunge and invested in this gallon jug and I'm glad I did. I use it to refill my empty smaller bottles. I love the low glycemic sweetener and use it and coconut palm sugar for almost all my sweetening needs now, including in coffee. i've grown to really enjoy it. Now that I have eliminated sugar from my diet, my need for a sweet taste is reduced and this sweetener is perfect because it is less sweet than white sugar and has much more vitamins and minerals.BTW, coconut nectar (the boiled sap of the coconut tree) and sugar (the dehydrated sap), do not taste anything like coconut as they are not made from the coconut itself but from the sap of the coconut tree which is collected something like a sugar maple is tapped for the sap.

Beware of this item called Coconut Secret - Raw Organic Coconut Nectar - 1 Gallon . Amazon will not return item. The picture on the Amazon website showed 3% DV of potassium and the item arrived with 0% DV of potassium. WOOZA But this is ONLY a chronic problem if you are using it unconventionally, otherwise a good product if your finish recipe is not replenishing organic potassium what Mansanto isn't.

A sweetener that is not sugar, nor a chemical carcinogen.It goes on the pancakes/waffles that I make. That I make w/ NO white flour, nor sugar.Sugar is bad for all humans at all ages. Especially so for those w/ cancer. 10 years after the tumors, I eat/drink/move to keep any from returning.

Loving this product. Can't say it's doing anything in particular but I use it in smoothies, herbal teas, yogurt, pre- workout shakes, muffins...It's not as sweet as sugar or other sugar substitutes, but I'm ok with that because that's my main reason for purchasing it. Overall I'm happy with this purchase.

Flavor is great and on the high end but no complaints

I invested in this big pack of Coconut Nectar, was really excited about it, but the taste is not sweet at all for me, it is more on the sour side, I don’t like the taste at all. Don’t know what to do, because you can’t return this item, 80$ wasted. So I highly recommend to try a small bottle first before ordering this one.

I was looking for a good quality coconut syrup and this was it. I like the organic quality of this and having a gallon makes having to buy often, a thing of the past. Very happy with the overall quality.

I love the taste and quality of this product. I have plenty to work with to adapt to recipes to replace sugar. Hopefully more tested recipes will become available online, not a lot of people working with this product yet.
