Tried two others with a WL185, this is the only one that works.
Perfect wired connection for TA4F Shure lav mics like the WL185. Converts 48V phantom power to 5V required for this electret circuitry. Tried the Acacia LIZ-HW Hardwired Headset Microphone Adapter - TA4F to XLR from Sweetwater, didn't work. And they made me pay for return shipping. Should have started with Shure and Amazon. Won't make that mistake again.

Works perfectly with Shure TA4F microphones!
I tried to get my Shure PGA31 mic to work using other adapters and even tried to power it with custom electronics to no avail. Then order this adapter and it works great without any more messing around. Noise levels are also incredibly low! And at Amazon's price, they are a steal. Highly recommended!

If you need it, this is what you want
Hard to say anything other than "this is what it is and it does it right". Typical Shure build quality, and it lets me plug my wireless-intended lavaliers into phantom power XLR jacks and run them wired. The side hook is nice if you're plugged in to a long XLR cable, so that it doesn't drag.

Perfect piece, incredible Shure quality, but too expensive!
Way too expensive, but it's exactly what I needed. Pumps out a clean signal into my Zoom H6. Only have one and I'm holding on for dear life.
