Coleman 360° Sound and Light Lantern

I have two Coleman Propane lanterns that I use for camping and emergency light. It seems like I'm always replacing the mantels on them and wanted something battery powered that would be easy to use and not get so hot. I purchased this to be used for camping and on the patio as both a light and a speaker. I love that it has a built in battery and that I don't have to fuss with D size cells.Overall the unit feels solid and well made, the handle is comfortable and would work very well for camping and as an emergency light. Just put it on the picnic table and you would have light and music for the evening. The light has three settings with different levels of brightness this allows for longer battery life. Connection to blue tooth was easy and speaker sounds good, the speaker includes a micro USB cable to charge it.

I've seen some reviews that the the sound quality isn't as impressive as other blue tooth speakers and that's true. However, I've seen those same reviews mention using it in their backyard for fires, parties, or other situations at home. This is meant to go camping and it requires electricity to charge it so it is NEITHER as good as something you can plug in at home, nor is it going to be used by someone hiking into the woods for a week without electricity. Does the volume go as high as my Bose bluetooth speakers, of course not, but this is ideally fitted for camping at a campground with other people camping in relatively close proximity so I'm looking to blast my music and bother the other folks looking to have a relaxing time themselves. It's a good quality light and a good quality speaker and you don't have to worry about batteries or propane to run it. That's a pretty nice set of wins for this product.

I bought this Coleman speaker/lantern last week for full price at a retail store and just found it on Amazon for 40% off, so I purchased 6 for Xmas gifts for nieces and nephews. I'm going to bundle it with other camping goodies & a state park annual pass in a basket. Shopping complete!We took ours "glamping" at the beach and it was fantastic! Range of light, great sound, lightweight, easy to charge. Wish we had this years ago. Great addition to our earthquake kit. too.

I love this thing so much I got one for my in-laws, who were at our house one day when the power went out and remarked with jealousy how handy this thing was. Well worth the price. And classic Coleman--you can't go wrong.

This is an all around good product. It's quite bright, easy to use in the dark controls, and good sound. I've heard richer sound quality from other standalone speakers, but this does work out quite well from it's lowest to highest volume levels.The only complaint I have is that it's still using micro USB for charging. Everything else I have is already USB-C, so I have to make sure I keep a micro USB cable handy.

I’m a huge fan of old Coleman gas lanterns. Kinda felt wrong buying an LED lantern… But this one changed my opinion. The soft diffused light is good at lighting up a trail at night and you can bring it in the tent. Coleman did a great job design this lantern and you can’t beat the price. I own two now because I got one for my daughter. Great product.

Bought this item for ice fishing to put into my shanty. Brightness was really good and the battery life was really good. But the sound quality of the speaker was terrible I wasn’t expecting it to be amazing but I was at least expecting it to have some good features. For this reason I returned it. If you like a nice bright light this is for you, but if you want to actually listen to your music this is not the product for you.

Works great, nice sound and large area of light.
