The belt for my dryer broke and so I decided to do the financially and ecologically responsible thing and replace it myself rather than replace the machine which was the next cheapest option instead of paying for repairs.The entire dryer needs to be dismantled to access the belt which with the help of an instructional video took a good deal of time and effort. Fitting the belt itself was very easy and it has operated for several months now without fault. A time consuming task to change but well worth it rather than throwing away a perfectly good dryer.

Delivered on time as scheduled.The belt received is exactly the same as the one that came fitted from factory (100% fit).Exceptional value for money.Fitting is rather straight forward, something that a handy person with a some basic tools should be able to tackel, although one needs to disassemble a number of parts. DIY but keep track of the sequence when disassembling and where everything goes, including the various screws. Getting the drum back in place and aligning the screws that keep it in place is the most difficult step. Use the new belt to lift the front end of the drum onto the guide wheels, the align the chassis screw holes.Make sure the belt is properly aligned and centred on the motor driveshaft, then put back the tensioning spring and turn the drum by hand until perfectly aligned.

My reverse air tumble dryer stopped reversing so ended up with a pile of damp washing. Diagnosed problem from a YouTube video and purchased this belt as original belt slightly perished. Arrived well packaged and yes, looks too long when you first take it out of the packaging. Like other reviews have said, looked at another YouTube video to fit it and it took 40 mins. Works perfectly. Thanks Amazon and YouTube. Would have cost £100 plus if I had used a professional to supply and fit.

After belt snapped in dryer & not wanting to call in a ‘specialist’ found how to do it myself & needed a replacement belt, probably cheaper elsewhere but came (prime) next day & looked to be exact same part as old/snapped one...a couple of hours later and dryer was back up & running
