I love this thing.
I was so pleasantly surprised I can't believe it. I got this thinking "if it is to junkie I can send it back". I have to say I love this thing. I built a new AR-15 and wanted to build a super lite one and the scope fit the bill. I got it and was very pleased with the glass and the view through the scope. I put Loctite on the screws that hold the mount on just in case and then went rabbit hunting in the desert of NV. I sighted the gun in at 25 yards and got as close to the center of the red dot of the target as I have ever gotten (see pic). So then I thought I would really try it out and so we set a metal 6 inch by 6 inch target out at 200 yards and my friend was plinking it with his very nice .308 from a prone position. I told him I wanted o give it a try with the new gun and once I figured out the wind I tore it up. I even shot the same target with gusty wind freehand and hit it about 50% of the time. Now the ultimate test, rabbit hunting. I was able to get on target with amazing speed and made some crazy shots at rabbits running at full speed across my field of view at 25 to 40 yards and hit then with a kill shot. Would recommend!!!

Great all around scope for AR-15. Impressed with results
0. Price is terrific.1. You can switch between red, green and black depending on the target. This actually saved me at the range today (wasn't getting good picture with red). I imagine this also translates to different environments/foliage2. Adjustable Focus. You can adjust to get good acquisition on targets at different range. I can get a good focus on a target at 25 yards as well as 100.3. No batteries needed. You don't need iron sights. If batteries go out, you still have operational scope.4. Reliable? Lookup scope on youtube, some airsoft guy dropped it hard and it still functioned. He abused it. I will take it on hunting trip and post back if i run into any problems. We'll see if any water/moisture will get in.5. Relatively wide FOV (move the scope to the back of rails for best sight picture)6. Remember to use lock-tight on the screws as some reviews have recommended. I have put well over 100 rounds and haven't experience any issues with looseness (used screwdriver to lock it down hard)Con: I'm not sure if it's me, but the red led seemed blurred. I switched to green and the problem went away. It might have been target. I will investigate next time I hit the range and get back

Great deal for under $100
Well, so far, so good! I attached the S330 to my DPMS Oracle LR308 and after 50 rounds, I gotta say I'm impressed!Out of the box, it shot 3" right at 50 yds, so a few clicks on the windage knob and she was dead center with each shot after. 6 rounds to zero it...not bad at all.I do HIGHLY recommend you tighten/loctite the hex screws on the bottom before mounting it like numerous reviewers before have stated. The eye relief is right at 4" optimal, but +\- 1" you can still see the reticle with just a bit of fisheye around the edges. The reticle rocks, and I love that you can shoot in daylight without having to power it up. Just dial it in (focus) and you're ready to put holes in paper or whatever.I added flip up lense caps from a UTG red dot to protect the glass, and a UTG QD mount as well. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and I'll amend this review should anything change on future range outings.

I'm giving 5 stars because this is a good product and I recommend it
Ok, I'll start with this: I'm giving 5 stars because this is a good product and I recommend it, not because it's the greatest thing ever. The 5 star rating is more because I know people base their buying decisions on the overall rating and frankly, this is a pretty good product at this price point. Honestly at about $100 I almost want to dislike it or at least find something wrong with it, but so far it's been solid. Some reviewers stated theirs did not come with lens covers, but mine did. Were they amazing lens covers? Absolutely not. But were they appropriate given the nature of this product? They sure were. I have used an M68 close combat optic and a 3 power ACOG with my issued M4A1, and the Monstrum is definitely not a peer of either of those products. However, it is a great little optic to have fun with at the range. You have to read the instruction manual to figure out how to make adjustments (*gasp* who has time to read stuff?!) as some other reviewers pointed out, the adjustment dials are not labeled clearly. But seriously, it's a $100 ish optic. The glass is clear enough, the reticle illumination is bright enough, and I've put probably a couple hundred rounds down range using it and it hasn't lost its zero, even though I only hand tightened it when I first installed it and I haven't messed with it since. It seems sturdy enough, but I hadn't really played rough with it. Would I take it to war with me? ... Actually, maybe. But only if my m68 and ACOG were not available. The white lettering on the side proclaiming the company name is dorky looking but whatever. If your budget is a little light and you're just looking to have some fun on the range, this is not a bad choice at all.

Great buy
This scope is great, I mounted it on my AR 15 and right away knew it was the one I needed for my purposes. The 3 X is all youll need for up to 100 yards. Even at close range 20 feet or so, you will see the target clearly. I would like to see a set of cross hairs and hash marks on this scope but the X and ring are fine. Great Buy
