Should come with every Vitamix product!
This should be the only carafe that comes with the Vitamix products. No more plastic. It is great and keeps smoothies nice and cold. Easy to clean and worth it if you are trying to have healthier products (less plastic) in your home.

SLLFLY 48 oz.. Stainless container is not a self detect container
This is not a self detect container !The V1200 Vitamix would not run because the container would not register.Could not get container top cover to clamp on, but a Vitamix 48 oz. cover worked.I am returning it because it doesn't work on my Vitamix.Will buy a genuine Vitamix SS container when they have a sale again.
