The slip of this product is crazy! Sometimes I go two weeks without washing or manipulating my hair too much because my twist out or wash and good came out good and I try stretch the style as long as I can. BUT, that leads to a significant amount of shedding and tangles that make wash day long and arduous. This product cut detangling time in half or more. You can use it without water or any of the products before even stepping foot in the shower. It washes out smoothly and makes the hair feel soft and moisturized and ready for your wash routine! I have 4a hair with a little 3C mixed in there.

I've been using this pre-poo every wash day, and I adore how it made my hair feel. It was incredibly smooth, easy to detangle, and reduced shedding. It has greatly simplified my laundry days. The aroma is lovely and the moisture content is excellent. Considering its size and cost, this pre-poo is excellent. I highly recommend.👍👍👍

I have 4c/4b low porosity hair and this product has amazing slip and moisture. Phenomenal prepoo that has changed the process and trajectory of wash day. Really enjoyed the project. No issues with smell! I’d say it’s a good value for your money. A little product goes a long way!

I love African Pride products. They work extremely well in my hair. My hair tends to be dry and the moisturizers keep my hair hydrated and with a nice sheen. Curls last and my hair is soft.This is my first time trying the pre shampoo. I had never seen it before. But the fact that it’s “detangling and conditioning/helps minimize breakage for natural curls and coils immediately grabbed my attention.It smells WONDERFUL!!!! That is a huge plus for me. I took a small section of hair to do a strand test. AMAZING!!! My curls are so pretty. Has a nice look and feel. My curls hang instead of shrinking. What I REALLY love is that my hair does not have that tacky feeling after applying. Very soft!!! This is definitely going to be on my list to continue purchasing and I will be telling my daughter and sister that have curls as well.My only reason for not giving this 5 stars is because the jar was slightly opened when I took it out of the box. To secure the product in shipping, there definitely needs to be something to keep it from spillage. Perhaps a sticker across the top or wrap in plastic and bubble wrap. Other than this I am a satisfied customer.

This is a great detangling product (smells just like coconuts) and you get a lot of bang for your buck as there's so much product for such a cheap price. The only concern I have is with the seller because I recently had to return this product, because my jar had no seal and this product could have possibly been tampered with.

I love this! My hair is curly and wavy and gets tangled alot and dry but this product makes it so soft that I can detangle it easily! My best friend and sisters use it and it works well for all of us and we all have different hair textures! Also on Amazon the container is way bigger and cheaper than the ones at the local beauty supply stores! Definitely should try! 100000000000%

I don’t know how and why this stuff works so well but it works and it smells so good! In my house we have all different types of hair from coily to curly to wavy and some of us have all three types on our head! It works for every single type of curly hair! The jar says to use on dry hair but I used my continuous spray water bottle and got my hair a little wet, not soaked, and put a little in my hair. You honestly only need a little because it definitely glides on and spreads easily. I parted my hair in quarters then I sectioned those quarters off in quarters and just applied the product on each of those parts then used my untangle brush and it literally just glided right through! Please believe me when I tell you that this stuff is the holy grail of hair washing day for people with coily and curly hair! AND IT SMELLS SO GOOD!!! After you apply it leave it on for 15 minutes like the jar says and then just wash your hair like you would normally do! You can definitely tell the difference when you actually wash your hair, it makes the shampoo not dry your hair out and seems like it makes the shampoo work even better! I didn’t use their shampoo and conditioner that goes with it because I’m a Shea Moisture girly but this product still worked really good for me. I’m sure if you get this, the pre-shampoo, and the shampoo and conditioner your hair will do amazing! Seriously, just buy it already, you will not regret it! Your scalp will Thankyou for not torturing it trying to comb out your hair!
