Cuts straight!
PROS: Great improvement over wheel type power shears, cuts fast and straight without a guide edge or even trying to hold it straight (amazing) just don't get that typical and unintentional drifting and crocked cuts that the wheel type cutters seem to be prone to doing without a straight edge guide. ideal for metal roofing an siding, zips right through like paper leaving a clean but very sharp edge. Comes with its own proprietary batteries, but, as it turns out it will run fine with perfectly fitting makita 18v battery packs too, so plenty of versatility, nice quality storage and carry case. CONS: Little difficult to push and set the switch for speed selections at least with my big fingers, tool may be bit heavy for some to use one handed, but it comes with a handle for two handed operations. Overall great value and a perfect gift for your favorite hand person or roofer.

Very good value
The media could not be loaded. I have owned several nibblers in the past. I currently own another cordless nibbler that is a brushed motor. There is a huge difference between the two. This nibbler comes with everything you need including batteries and a charger. As an added plus, I found that I can use my Makita batteries with this. The power from the brushless motor is quite a bit more substantial than that of my other nibbler. It cuts much quicker than my other. There is no ramp up in speed or power like my other one either. Press the trigger and the power is there. I've included a video showing the two cutting a piece of R-Panel. These types of metal cutters are great for cutting thin metal sheets. I use them all the time for R-Panel, etc. There is a small extension behind the cutter head which acts like a riving knife, so the included head won't cut a really tight diameter circle, but it works great for slight curves and straight cuts. For the price, it's an excellent value and I can highly recommend it. I will update my review should anything change.

Works, but watch shavings
I found that it did work, and work good. I tested it out doing multiple passes on a piece of sheet metal that I got for patching rocker panels and floors on cars.. So it was a decent thickness. It worked flawlessly each pass.. But some things to note..This does come with 2 batteries. The batteries say 3ah on them, but IMO, by feel of weight (there is almost no weight to the batteries), they are closer to the weight of a standard 2ah battery, so while I can not guarantee this, I would expect them to be 2ah batteries, not 3..When this cuts the metal, what it does is keep taking small chunks, or nibbles out of the metal, which leaves small crescent moon shaped pieces behind.. There is a small bag that is about 3" high, and about 3/4" or 1" in diameter that attaches to the bottom to catch these small pieces so you do not make a mess.. I found that this small bag can get in the way, depending on how you are using it.. For example, if you are cutting rusted rocker panels off on a car, then this will get in the way.. Open space around it, you should be fine. Also, obviously, make sure to empty the bag often..There are no lights on the batteries to show how full the battery is.. But there is a light display on the bottom of the tool that will show power ratings.. The second set of lights is for speed.. You can adjust the speed up or down to the desired speed.I think the wrench that they give you is so that you can turn the cutting edge to cut sideways instead of straight, for example.. Not sure though as I did not try it.I think almost $150 is a bit pricey for this tool.. I saw another setup with 2 batteries, just slightly slower cut speeds, for about $40 less, and a setup that uses my current dewalt batteries for $60 less. I took 1 star off due to the high price, and one star because the batteries are just too light to be 3ah packs. I have done enough actual tests to know the difference in weight between a 2, 3, and 4ah battery packs.

This definitely nibbles!
The tool absolutely devours sheet metal with impressive precision, no more tired hands or uneven cuts. I particularly love how it handles curves and straight lines equally well, making quick work of what used to be tedious cutting tasks. The included hard plastic case keeps everything organized. For anyone who regularly works with sheet metal, this tool is seriously worth considering, it's powerful, precise, and the fact that it works really well on batteries and I don't have to worry about the cord getting in the way.

Does a great job on cardboard!
I got these specifically for cutting corrugated cardboard. They do an INCREDIBLE job of it, both in straight cuts and curves. It's also super easy to "freehand" cut, and get some really tight curves. The only thing that I dislike about it is that it is HEAVY. But, it's a well made tool.Comes with a blow molded storage case, two batteries, and a charger.
