this is a very nice way to have tracking on your car or family members car that approves it for safety reasons as it is powered by the accessory or cigarette outlet but, as with most cars when you turn the key off, then the power to the accessory outlet goes offBack in the day, older cars were always hot on the cigarette lighter because people sat in their cars without the keys and they needed to light their cigarette so that was common and also handheld spotlight. I am dipping back into history.it’s a nice unit as long as there’s power going to it and again it’s not a good idea to use it for spying unless you’re trying to protect your kids from doing we’re going places they shouldn’t but that’s different storyThe Apple find me works on a system, where as long as there are Apple phones or devices within cellular and networks systems, small devices like this will connect to them, but if you’re in the middle of a desert, and there’s no signal towers or other phones to relay back-and-forth to each other, then the item is useless. for the most part, we are covered with some type of signal for communicationsI think it’s a great idea, a great price and you don’t have to worry about switching of battery constantlySome cars have a accessory outlet in the very back area or behind a console that could get plugged into unforgotten, but you also get the ability to plug USB A devices into it

I got this so that when we go to the big cities close to us, I can put it in the charging port between the front seats that is always on and will be able to locate the car if it's stolen. It may come in handy other times since it has two charging ports, but my vehicle already has enough and we only own iPhones and can locate our phones already. I think the value is good and it functions as expected.

This is exactly what I would have designed if I'd said I want an IOS tracking device that nobody will notice and that will be so low profile that it functions full-time as a charger.No, it is not a GPS device, and it won't show you that thieves have parked your car at a chop shop in the middle of a Cellular Desert. But it WILL show where your car is within reason, without alerting anyone that they're being tracked, and while functioning to charge the phone that is plugged into it and likely reporting the device location.I simply see no flaws in the design or execution. And at only $19 it is cheaper than buying an AirTag.Note: Don't use this to spy on your friends or family. It's not nice, and it may be illegal.

This little charger is a great idea. Who thinks to check the charging port as a GPS unit. Cars get stolen all the time and if you can't login and see where your car is at this is a great alternative. I use it for when my kids have my car because sometimes they don't have their phone or they turn it off. It charges just like a regular car charger, it was extremely easy to put on my find my phone app. Definitely recommend!!
