Yumicozy hot water bottle
Really pleased with this, heats up very quickly, soft plush covers and so kind to my hands which need to be kept warm due to osteoarthritis. Love the colour - only had this a month or so but hoping it will be reliable and useful to me for years to come.

One week life
Nice at first but after about 20 days it started to smell like burning, and stopped working.

Stopped charging after a few weeks
Great when I first got this and the price was £22.50. A couple of weeks later I bought two more (one each for my sons) and the price had gone up to £25.80. One month later my one stopped recharging so I returned it for a refund. Just looked at replacing it and the price has risen again to £27,99. Guess I won’t be buying a replacement one in this case.!!Started off great. Held the charge and stayed warm for hours. But then I was having to charge it more often until it stopped all together. My sons don’t use theirs as often as I used mine so time will tell……

Quite a clever little development in hot water bottle technology!
I have used hot water bottles for years, both for warming purposes and for pain relief, and they've always been my go to option first. However, I've always worried about bottles leaking and boiling water bursting out, not to mention hating going through the boiling the kettle stage, struggling to unscrew the top (that you tighten a lot to avoid burning leaks) and then repeating over again when it inevitably cools quicker than you'd like. With this rechargeable electric hot water bottle from Yumicozy, you're taking away a lot of the worry and fuss in one go, making it a great swap option for traditional hot water bottle fans. You simply plug the bottle in (with the supplied charger) and there's an indicator light that shows when it's charging and when it's ready. It's hot and ready to use in a matter of minutes and without the risk of getting burned or making your fingers sore trying to overtighten and unscrew any lids.Great that it comes with a cover and a belt/holder (I wouldn't use this, but you may like it), and the deep green finish is quite nice. Performance wise, the bottle gets to a good heat and it lasts a decent amount of time with each charge. I would have to say that it doesn't feel as hot with its cover on is the only slight reason why it's not 5 stars for me as I like my bottles HOT-HOT, but this may not be your preference. I've found using it without the cover to be the best option for me as I can definitely feel the heat plenty enough then.Pretty good value for money compared to traditional hot water bottles and I'm really pleased with it so far. Super handy to use and much more convenient than kettle filled options. I'll be putting one of these on my mum's Christmas list to buy her next year as I know she'll love it as much as I do. Recommended!

Fabulous and a must have
Amazing, absolutely love this. Heats up really quickly and stays warm for hours. The hand pocket is great for keeping my hands warm whilst I’m sat at my desk and the belt great for focusing heat on various aches and pains and when doing housework, when I’m driving, etc. Brilliant for folk too who are concerned about filling traditional hot water bottles and the potential burns from spills and leaks. A good present idea too. Highly recommended and I for one am a convert and won’t be returning to the traditional hot water bottle.
