Quality of this product was good. It stayed in place Considering it took 5 days to complete overall design on before it could be removed. No bleed through.

Excellent tackiness and easy to apply and adjust.I used this is as the ‘fine’ line to get a precise edge and then overlaid it with a wider masking tape to provide the overpaint protection.Did the job perfectly.

Very sticky tape. I used this to outline my rear window before shrink treating window tinting film. Since the film was so dark I figured it best to give myself a guide for cutting - because I couldn't see through the film. This tape was nice and narrow. It provided me with a great outline as a guide for cutting.I outlined with tape and then went over again with a second layer. While cutting there was a nice guide line and layer of tape to prevent the blade cutting into the glass.Does the job on a car window. Nice and sticky and was held in place throughout the job. That was including copious amounts of soapy water and the tape still held.It's good stuff but depends what you're going to be using it for in the end.

Great fine line tape! Used for masking my airbrush projects.. it’s a bit expensive but much better quality than any of the other brands I have brought previously..I usually rub the tape on my trousers to reduce the stickyness, easy to bend/apply and remove..

I used several widths of this 3M fine line masking tape in a guitar build project application for different masking requirements. Firstly, when painting the fretboard of a guitar to achieve a very finely defined line between the fretboard and stained bare wood. I also used it when filling small gaps between the white plastic edge purfling and the marquetry veneer using a fine white epoxy putty. One of its best features compared to regular paper based masking tape is that it can stretch and bend a bit to allow it to follow an uneven line, if required. Highly recommended for specialist applications such as automotive finishing projects and luthiery work; I wouldn't deploy it in general household decorating.

Recently I acquired a Challenger Scat Pack that I was debadging and refinishing to a different color.I wanted the car to have a retro look to the finish and painted striping that I was planning on putting under the clear of the paint rather than modern vinyl striping on the clear more common today. I purchased this tape to lay out the lines and crossed my fingers that I would get no bleed through when using solvent reduced base coat paint with it. I turned out amazing. This tape allows you to stretch when forming the radius of the stripe and can be pulled with tension to make a straight line. If surface is clean and using a tack cloth prior to laying tape it will stick nicely and not allow bleed through. Do your prep properly and you will have good results with this tape.
