My son used it. It took time to practice, but if you really found the instructions you’ll be able to learn basics of picking locks. In the box, it comes with three different locks that you might encounter in life. The only thing I was sad to say it did not have is the cheap locks you see on sentry safes. Those are the ones they sell in Walmart. If you don’t wanna have your belongings burned to the ground, you put it in this little safe and it has a key. They call it away for a lock and it’s not included in the kit.

Good deal for all the tools you get but you need to know how to do it. I couldn’t get my lock open but lock smith did in 19 seconds with similar tools

My husband and I bought this set because my MIL lost the keys to her mini safe when she moved. Lots of important stuff is now locked away in a little black box. The nearest locksmith is an hour away and requires proof that the safe is indeed owned by the individual. This safe was bought 13 years ago and there she has no proof of purchase. So we bought this kit but it didn't have the pick we needed. However, the practice lock and other attachments work as intended. It is fun and pretty easy to mess around with, and we are going to put it in our emergency kit out in the car for the days we accidentally lock ourselves out of our shed or home (it happens more than I'd like to admit...)

This set came packaged nicely and I was excited to use it. Upon opening, I noticed grime on the picks and they looked like they were always used. No biggie for this…wiped them off. Within a few uses, the lock was just shedding metal and I was left looking like I made keys on a key machine. Definitely do not recommend!

Although the picks are stainless steel, the flimsy plastic handles are weak and prone to breaking or separating off. The set I received was missing the tension wrench. I would have rated it a star higher if all of the items paid for arrived.
