Very nice well constructed

I am very pleased with this purchase. Dismantle was better quality than I expected for the low price. My bricks measure 60 inches, so I ordered the 72 inch shelf. The outer brackets fit snuggly against the bricks. Dismantle was very easy to install and I was able to do it myself. The only tools needed was my cordless drill. I couldn’t be happier with this Mantle.

Versatile and minimalistic.Simply beautiful!To install it I had to use my stud finder and ignore the pre drilled holes in the base of the inner piece of wood because you need to make sure you’re anchoring it in the right spot, not just on the Sheetrock, but I guess it would be different depending on the material of the walls you’re working with. The package also includes a small level that you can use to make sure you’re installing it correctly.After installing the base, everything else is super easy. The quality of this mantle is really good for the price, and it will make your space look so much nicer!

Last May I moved out of the apartment I had lived in for 16 years up to my seasonal cabin in the Adirondacks. I had to put furniture items and other belonging into storage until I made adjustments at the cabin. I had hoped to get it into shape so that I would be able to bring everything up and spend this past winter in it but that didn’t happen! This year has seen more frequent snowfalls than normal and the colder temps are lingering. It just snowed again the night before last! I haven’t not been able to spend more than a couple hours at a time there over the past week trying to get some things done in preparation for when I’m comfortable bringing my two kitties with me to start staying there again! The nights are still dipping down into the 20’s and we’re not seeing a lot of sunshine! Some say this is normal north country weather, others say it’s not! I just know it’s been hard trying to get much done in the cabin when my main source of heat is electric space heaters!In my apartment I had a beautiful mantel piece with an electric fireplace and faux brick surrounding it. A family antique painting with an Adirondack rowboat in it hung on top of it. The cabin does have a stone fireplace but I knew I would want to hang the painting over a wood mantel. The light beige wood one I had wouldn’t fit so I donated it. I have walnut colored wood pieces in storage that I will be bringing into the cabin so I wanted to incorporate the new mantle into the room I would be putting those in. I’m so happy to have found this one!I placed my order and had it sent directly to the cabin to be placed inside the kitchen until I arrived. I got it out of the box, it was light enough for me to handle on my own, I found it in perfectly beautiful shape, the wood grain and color will blend well with my other pieces and look great with the wood flooring and walls in the cabin. I checked for all the anchoring hardware, then held it up against the wall of my preference to hang it on to see how much space was left on each side, 8” on each, but maybe not quite enough? Considering I might want to choose a different wall to mount it on, my hands were freezing, so I put it back in the box. UGH! My best friend who has the cabin next door will be up in a few weeks, she’ll help me decide where to put it and then get it hung with me. With luck by then the temperature will be warmer making it easier to hold screws and use the drill without my hands getting cold🥶I’m very impressed with how nice this mantle piece looks for the price that it is. The style with the crown molding type edging is what I like. The linear groove across the front edge will be nice to help keep my stocking holders from slipping off! Even though it’s light weight it has a solid look to it. After reading one of the reviews that someone mentioned they used larger screws to anchor it, I’m giving consideration to hanging one of my tv’s over it instead of the painting🤔 or possibly just setting the tv directly on it. I have to check on the weight of the tv first. Then my neighbor can help me with a final decision…😂Great mantle so far. I’ll be back after I get it hung up with pictures!

I recently purchased a home, and my fireplace did not have a mantle. I ordered the white fireplace mantle shelf because I have a white wall above the fireplace.
