Shimmer Damask Metallic Wallpaper Teal/Silver (ILW980012)

This wallpaper is another hit by ilovewallpaper - I used this in a guest bedroom for a feature wall. It goes well with Laura Ashley Duck Egg paint on the rest of the walls. What can I say...went up smoothly and leaves a really delicate sparkle in the room. I can't wait to decorate with a luxurious bed and soft furnishings which will really bring the room to life. Nice one that does the job.

Absolutely stunning paper. colour is exactly how it looks on here. Very sophisticated looking ! I have this on one wall in my living room with a pale grey paint - everyone comments on the paper when they come in. love it !

Came with in two days of ordering , very fast delivery and great wallpaper . Very happy with this .

Looks nice but very thin tears easily so should be extra carefully when pasted as had 3 tear when hanging, also only got 3 drops per roll

Happy with the look. It's got nice light teal, silver and grey shades blending into each other. The room's light source creates a halo effect in a large area. Some people don't like it much but I think it looks fine.Now the negatives. The decorator said it was the worst paper he ever worked with. It got soggy immediately after pasting and started to fall apart as he held it. He had to sprint between rooms to get it on the wall before the bottom half fell off in his hands. It also was terrible to cut. Sharp new blades still tore it. He had to use scissors in the end which made the cut lines just a little less tidy. He was a really good decorator and we're still very happy with how it came out. But if you had a less experienced one, or tried it yourself it sounds like hell. Oh, and also he found that on one roll the silver pattern just sloughed off when the paper was wet so he had to remove and redo a whole strip.Finally - because I got caught out by this when buying wallpaper on Amazon in separate orders - check your BATCH NUMBERS!!! They can be different between orders and look different shade and patterns may not quite match. This should be a big warning on Amazon, and I am quite annoyed that they don't say it. First time wallpaper buyers have no idea about batches!

Would definitly buy from here again 1 roll was slightly damaged i phoned ILW and they expressed another roll out for following day great customer service fab products and really good price love it
