Works - for a while.
Product works very well.However, after owning this for about 1 yr, it started to fall apart. 1) The magnetic cover over the vent lost one magnet, and now will not stay attached. While the magnetic attachment is a great idea in theory, it doesn't hold up well if the magnets don't stay attached. I'm now a little worried that the vent is somewhat of a fire hazard. 2) Randomly (without falling/throwing/etc), the handle cracked in half. I discovered this unfortunately when I pricked my hand on the broken plastic. I've taped this with electrical tape, but very disappointing for a "high-end" hair dryer after just 1 yr.With these issues, I looked up the warranty with Rowenta as post-30-days you can no longer return to Amazon. Well, the site is difficult to navigate in that regard, but I finally registered my product only to find that repair centers are few and far between (i.e., 1 per state or fewer...the nearest one to me is a 4 hr drive). So I have a choice of continuing to use as-is, driving 4 hours to a repair center, mailing it to said repair center and waiting a few weeks, or buying a new one...

Not worth the price or the hype
Not worth the price or the hype - started falling apart within weeks of purchase. The piece on the back that allows you to adjust if the dryer blows when your hand is not holding the handle fell off, the magnetic vent piece falls off constantly and the magnets are no longer attached. I have thick, curly hair, and I see no difference between this blow dryer and my old Clairol dryer from Target.

Poor quality built
The auto sensor button fell out shortly a month after I purchased hairdryer. My month to return window had closed so Amazon said I would have to contact the manufacturer to check on the manufacturer warranty. I am waiting on a return call to see if they will honor the manufacturer warranty. I do like the hairdryer, it does a good job if I can keep it running. I have to jostle it all around trying to keep it running to dry my hair. Poor quality in workmanship

Love this dryer. Second one purchased. Dry time is awesome. A bit large for travel however awesome for home use

Hgh Quality Dryer
Best hair dryer I've ever used. It's a little heavy, but definitely manageable. Feel very well built and sturdy, should last a very long time.

Beware: Defective
Defective product. After just a couple months of use, this dryer spontaneously shuts off while usung unless you hold ‘on’ button down w/all your might.. Very frustrating. Unusable.
