I give this review honestly and the fact that I did not pay for this item has not influenced my rating]In terms of value for money against trademark brand names like Imodium, this is the same active ingredient so these capsules are vastly better though with store brand loperamide, the price per capsule is on a par but you have convenience with these.I use these as a preventative measure (the capsules are easy to swallow) in case my lactase enzyme supplements aren't enough and so far, so good as movements have been delayed for hours if not until the next day.Considering that these capsules don't have an expiry date until the end of 2026, it's likely that I will use them all up before they lose their effectiveness over time. I'm very pleased with this product and if you use these as a preventative measure or as a means of mitigating IBS for example, you can't go wrong with these.

These loperamide tablets contain exactly the same active ingredient as the major high street brand but at a fraction of the price. They work just as well too. You take two tablets when you first suffer diarrhoea and then a single tablet with further bowel movements. Normally the first dose is enough to work though.The tablets are great if you have IBS or bile acid malabsorption and the quantity you get for £18 is excellent considering how many of these tablets you can get through with these conditions.One thing to add was I received 24 boxes of 6 tablets rather than 12 boxes of 12. Whilst the quantity is the same, the sheer number of boxes makes it a bit hard to find places to store them all!

I unfortunately suffer from IBS, the type which means I do get diarrhoea on a reasonably regular basis. These work reliably and effectively for me every time - one initial dose of two tablets is often enough, if not one more after the second "episode" does the trick.The hard capsules are very small and smooth so they're very easy to swallow, and the quality is exactly the same as any branded version of this as the active ingredient is identical. The packets are quite small and discreet so you can keep some in a bag for when you need them.If you use a lot of these, as I am afraid I do, then getting 144 tablets will last you a while.At the current Subscribe and Save price these work out at about 57p a pack of 6, which is a good price, but I can find these for 59p per pack at a well-known high street chain, so not a huge saving - but to be fair they are sometimes out of stock and if you need to keep a fair supply on hand, this is a convenient way of getting them delivered.
