I broke my right wrist and ankle and was told to get one of these so I could shower at home. I’m pretty pleased as it’s sturdy and I feel safe sitting on it. The seatbelt is way too big for me (5’2” 130 lbs) but it felt sturdy enough I didn’t really have to use it. The only improvement I can think is some way to secure the shower curtain around it because there’s no way to not get water everywhere. Either way, it’s making my life much easier during this ordeal and I can shower without assistance!

Our mother recently had back surgery and needs a safe way to take a shower but was too weak to stand for any length of time. This shower bench was sturdy and allowed her to sit while showering. It was easy to assemble. I will definitely recommend this shower bench to anyone who wants to be independent in their personal care.

This sliding shower transfer bench was a lifesaver after my mom’s foot surgery when she was non-weight bearing for a couple of months. She really liked the chair and found it helpful, but she did mention that she wished the handles were on both sides for extra support. It was super easy to put together, and the assembly was a breeze. However, storing it between showers was a bit tricky. In hindsight, we probably should’ve taken it apart after it dried (which didn’t take long) for better storage, but we didn’t consider that at the time. We did keep the box, though, so we could store it once she was done with it. Overall, it made a big difference in her recovery!

construction of unit is good works well if tub is wide. mine is narrow it does not work properly. have called help line and have found it to be no help at all. called twice and used email.
