This book was well written, and its pacing is perfect as we are introduced to Simone as a child, and we follow her along to current day. Each chapter spends the right amount of time on her development; all the characters are fleshed out appropriately, and we really get a feel for Simone's victories and struggles, as well as her family and friends. The book could lapse into technical jargon, but it doesn't, instead showing Simone's journey in a fun and pedagogical way. It was easy to follow, yet one can do research if one chooses on the different gym forms mentioned. This story was inspiring, but not saccharine, and felt authentic to Simone. The tone felt appropriate for the age range, and it invites people to re-read the story.

Simon Biles' life story is as impressive as her gymnastic accomplishments.This book is a perfect outline to show how determinatiion and hard work pays off in life and sports.As a father of 2 daughters, I encourage reading books like this to see examples of how to take control of your life and thrive.This is another excellent biography in a series of which I am becomming a big fan.It's an easy read. Very informative and a great gift to young readers who need uplifting and wholesome reading material.

Simon Biles’ story is one of determination and perseverance. This book beautifully illustrates that in an easy to understand format for children. My daughters enjoyed it so much I decided to gift it to all my close friends’ daughters this Christmas. It will make the perfect stocking stuffer. I’m sure they all will love it too!
