Great Billiards light!
Light is very bright and illuminates the pool table regardless of the surrounding lighting options. I was even able to install this light to hang underneath the ceiling fan over the table. No shadows anywhere on the table.Looks good and is very functional.

Improve your game
The light is the best I have ever seen. The extra light and no shadows has improved my game.

Be sure the electrical connection will work for you!
It was not clear from the description (at least to me) that the electrical connection MUST be within 12 inches of the CORNER of the table. I was replacing an existing light, and the electric connection is centered over the table. So I could not make this work without moving the table to meet that requirement. And that wouldn't work in my billiard room. So I have no actual review of the light. It looks like a quality product, and it was packaged very well. I just wouldn't work for my application. If you have a huge room and can move your billiard table to accommodate the electric, good for you. If you have a smaller room, just be aware of the hard limit on placement.

Excellent light for pool table
Very nice light. The only complaint I have is with the installation guide. It was not good. Once completed, if I had to do it again, it would be so much easier due to learn as you go.

Great looking light. Ideal for pool table
The media could not be loaded. Needed to update our “fun room” and wanted to get rid of the old cheap brass lights that were above the pool table, left by the previous owner. After search we came across this light and it was exactly the sort of sleek, modern update we were looking for. It look great and the 4000K light is more than enough for playing. Put it on a dimmer and it becomes even more versatile as an accent light. My only issue was with the install. Yes, it’s pretty straightforward for a regular ceiling however it requires some tweaking for a drop ceiling. Not only did I have to relocate the light box that was centered above the table (this new light requires the light box to be somewhat off center to allow for the actual light to be centered), but I also had to modify the ceiling tiles but cutting a hole into one to access the light box. I also had to lower the light box to being almost flush with the ceiling tile otherwise the installed light would have “lifted” the ceiling tile. Mounted like this there was only availability to use the light box mounting screws as the other screws called for in the directions (to further secure the light bar) had nothing to grip as there was about 3” between the ceiling tiles and the wood beams. I also used wall anchors in another ceiling tile to secure the other end of the light, then pulled the excess wire through a hole in the tile and secured it to a wood beam. It was a more involved install with some non-standard modifications but it worked.
