Sturdy looking boots!
As someone who relies on reviews before purchasing, hope this is helpful! These Sorel's are certainly a gorgeous, robust looking pair of boots and feel warm and comfortable straight from the box!I'm yet to wear them outside as I was a little uncertain as to whether I needed half a size bigger, so wanted to walk around the house in them first. I'm a size 6 and ordered a 6 but when I first put the boots on they felt comfortable but maybe a little too snug.I was concerned they'd be too tight to wear thick socks with. However, it's the felt liner that is snug not the boots themselves and after an hour of wearing them around my warm house they have loosened, shaped themselves around my feet. They're not overly heavy as other reviews suggested and don't seem to need breaking in as they don't rub anywhere. Dead easy to put on and off, like slippers!Though a little tricky to pull the laces in tight if you want them snug around your calves (possibly a sign I need to build more calf muscle!).Will update after I've put them through their paces in some inclement outdoor scenarios, as to waterproofing, warmth etc.

Happy with my snow boots!
I bought these boots in August for an upcoming trip to Norway in Dec/Jan, when they arrived at first they were quite heavy & on putting them on I struggled to get them off easily, particularly the right one as I have a bit of existing knee pain & felt like it pulled my knee a bit when taking off.. as they were costly & had previous good reviews (reason I bought them) I decided to start wearing them in walking around the house & practise taking them off without pulling my knee, but admittedly only did this 4 times...when we got to Norway we arrived in Bergen with a foot of snow so I needed to start wearing them daily, I was nervous at first incase my knee hurt taking them off but I really didn't need to worry as they seemed to fit like a glove & once I'd walked around for a few minutes they were already so comfy & warm & well protected from the snow & cold, they were easy to take off too! We then travelled up to Tromso where the snow & cold were more dramatic, did some excursions & they were on my feet throughout all we did (even the guide at snowmobiling said they were the best make boots for the conditions) Did miles of walking in the snow for 2 & a half weeks & they were honestly the best choice I made, my feet didn't get cold once! Now I'm back home I really miss wearing them! & I have put them back in their box to keep for next time, or hoping for a bit of snow at home so I can get them out again! Best purchase I made for my trip!

Really decent snow boots
I’d finally worn out my last pair of (cheap) snow boots and as I had a holiday to northern Norway booked for January, thought I’d splurge on a decent pair. Did a lot of research and decided on these. Thought I’d wait until after my holiday to review though! So the most important part - are they snow/water proof? Absolutely. We had heavy, deep snow and nothing got through, no damp feet at any point. They were also nice and warm, I didn’t have cold feet at any point, which I’m highly susceptible to getting, and we were dealing with temperatures as low as -20°. Coupled with a decent pair of woollen socks, my feet were always toasty. I froze myself standing on a deck of a boat for hours, watching the northern lights and the only warm part of me was my feet. The felt inner layer is a nice touch and the fleece top prevents any errant snow from finding its way into the boots. I loved how easy they were to put on and take off. You can open them up quite wide to put on and then tighten them, it was refreshing not having to battle with a pair of snow boots! They’re slightly clunky and large, but I’ve found the same with other snow boots and you get used to it quickly. The only reason I can’t give these 5 stars is because they’re terrible on ice. Literally fell over in my first half an hour outside. After that, I was super careful, but at one particularly icy place I was like Bambi on ice while others strode past me. My saint of a husband had to drag me across the ice while I kept my knees locked. So if you’re going anywhere particularly icy, crampons would be a must with these (I’ll be investing in some) Despite this, I’m very happy with my purchase and I do feel like they’re going to last well, they still look brand new after a week of stamping round in the snow and there was a fair bit of walking!

Best boots ever 🔥
Absolutely fantastic, the most comfortable, wearable, functional, waterproof, warm boots you could hope for. Not heavy. Excellent grip in snow and on ice, we’ve walked miles in them. Even wore them on a 10 hour flight. Size is spot on, with room for thick or thin socks. We bought his and hers. Loving them.

So Warm So Comfy
Given reviews said they come up small picked up a pair half a size up for a thicker sock. In retrospect my normal size would have done. These are great boots....had loads of compliments but for me the fact the are actually waterproof, superwarm and very comfortable is an absolute winner. Fed up buying winter boots that weren't fit for purpose or lasted one winter. I took up a recommendation from a fellow dogwalker. Admittedly I paid half price ( ~£60 from Amazon Warehouse) but at full price I'd still say they are value for money. Sorel Tock
