Great for home haircuts!
I've been cutting my own hair since long before the pandemic forced lots of people to do so. Very short on the sides, and longer on the top, is my style and it is an easy cut to do with patience and a mirror. I had a set of clippers and guides like this, but it eventually wore out. I replaced that old one with this one, and it has been excellent and useful. It works well, doesn't get overheated in your hand like some older ones I've had. The length guides make it easy to control the length of the hair on different parts of your head. You can go from about 1-1/2" long, to shaved right down to bald. I trim the hair on my head and my beard, all with the same clippers with different length guides. The cord is long enough that it will plug into the (usually one) outlet in your bathroom and still leave you plenty of slack to move the clipper all around your head as needed. For the price, this is a great hair trimmer set. Well worth it!

Nice basic clipper.
I already had a Conair clipper I got a decade or so ago, but was missing a guard. Decided to buy this set. The guards actually fit each clipper. Good power, good value for the cost. The main issue I have is the on/off switch is a slider. My old clipper it was a toggle type switch so as I'm using it with one hand (mirror in the other) it was easy to turn on/off. This one with the slider, I personally find it harder to slide on/off with one hand. As a slider it's also more flush so I have to feel for the switch. The old clipper, the switch not as flush so easier to find. The new one also feels lighter than the old clipper, not as solid feeling if that makes a difference to you. Still a good basic clipper.

Nice clippers
My husband loved this brand of clippers that my parents had so he asked me to buy him the same brand. So far he’s loving it and it works great and cuts his hair easily. It’s nice and easy to hold and seems like it will last a long time. It’s not too big or bulky.

Not a good value.
Been a Conair fan for years. But this model is worthless. Right out of the box it pulls the hair, not cutting it. I tried putting a little oil on the blade, no use. Still pulled my hair. I would not waste my money on this item. I am going to spend more money and get one that cuts hair, not pull it out.

Exceeds My Expectations
Back in 1994 or 1995 I purchased a deluxe version of these same Conair clippers, after I discovered that sideburn trimmers on most conventional electric shavers are ineffective on my beard. I've been using the clippers two or three times a week ever since (to trim both my beard and head hair) until it finally gave up the ghost last month. The decades of service it has offered speaks volumes about the quality of these clippers.About a decade ago my old clippers were acting up, so I rushed out and purchased a comparable deluxe set from Wahl. Then I learned how to adjust the power screw, which allowed me to continue using the Conair clippers for many more years. More recently, after the electric motor finally failed, I pulled out the Wahl set. Awful! I don't know if the Wahl clippers were ok for cutting head hair, but they just won't work at all on my beard, so I quickly bought this set instead.I am delighted(!) with it. The business end is a little narrower than it is on the deluxe Conair version, so the old attachment combs from the deluxe kit don't fit, and there are fewer doodads that accompany this basic kit - most of which I don't really use anyway. This basic kit fits my needs perfectly. If you are interested in cutting head hair relatively long, and you cut your own hair, then you might be better off with the deluxe version, because the four attachment combs in this basic set are relatively short (i.e. they cut closer to the skin). As for me, I find the #4 comb perfect for shaving my own head hair (I just run it all around my head without looking - and admittedly I am mostly bald) and the #3 comb is perfect for my beard. Then I use the clippers directly - without a comb - to trim my moustache, sideburns, and on my neck below my beard. (The directions recommend not to have the blades contact the skin directly, but I've found that this is not at all problematic).I can then use a cheap battery-powered shaver to touch up the areas on my neck where I want a closer shave. This works very well for me, and I save a lot of time, effort and money compared to more conventional shaving options.So... anybody interested in a free deluxe set of Wahl clippers?

Became dull
Bought this clippers about a year and a half ago. It gets used about once a month. It worked great, but is already too dull to use.

Hella legit
With prices escalting, I've decided to just shave my head and ditch the barber fee. Great price and product. Kudos!
