Great price for quality and quantity. It has been harder to find saffron threads and getting pricey. I like to make paella and mango saffron jam. Nice flavor and quality threads.

I first came across Saffron at my inlaws but I did not know its use. Fast forward some years, I enjoy many cultural dishes and in this Persian recipe, it called for saffron an essential ingredient. I am pleased with its quality and how much colour and flavour is released from just a few threads. The price is within my budget and will purchase again soon.

It's exactly what was described when ordering, came in a timely manner and I was EXTREMELY excited to use it my cooking- especially because non gmo, but once opened the smell of gasoline filled the room. I came back and read the reviews (should have done this first! 😔) and others say smells of chlorine, but I'm smelling gasoline. I will NOT be cooking with this AT ALL and am going to contact the seller for reimbursement, just writing my review first because hopefully someone can avoid this issue. I'm really seriously bummed out. The packaging is beautiful, the product LOOKS beautiful!!! But there is zero chance I trust this in my cooking, I would be worried about inadvertently poisoning my family with whatever chemicals are on the product.
