This book series was recommended to me by my daughter's preschool teacher. We LOVE every single book! Yes... I said "we" ... these stories are fun to read to a child! They don't get boring... and I have re-read them soooo many times! This has become our go-to gift for toddlers and preschoolers.

I bought the first in the series, Harry McClary from Donaldson Dairy for my grown children over 30 years ago. It's one of the books that I kept to read to any child that came over. When I started having grandkids I searched for this book to gift them only to find how hard it was to find it. Apparently it never was a big hit in the US so the big book stores here don't carry it. I'm so excited to have found this big set of these books to be able to share with the next generation. An American publisher should really look into publishing these fun rollicking rhyming books here. Everyone I've gifted with them falls in love just like we did.

Love the writing, rhyming, story telling, drawings

What a find! What child doesn't like animals-especially dogs and cats? The adventures of Hairy Maclary will capture any child but it is the exquisite sense of rhyming and repetition that makes these books so special. Genius. I read that these are a New Zealand classic and Hairy Maclary so loved that he even had a stamp made after him. There is a reason why they have sold over 11 million copies worldwide--you won't be disappointed.

Books were in excellent condition and packed well in shrink wrap inside the outer wrapping.They arrived in record time. Would definitely buy from this seller again.

My 1 year old nephew loves these books so much that his parents started looking for copies to buy for their expecting friends. I enjoyed these as a kid in New Zealand but they're not published in the USA so that's why I ordered from Amazon. They came in a cute little red tote bag with a nice picture on the front which was an added bonus.

These are the best for kids from birth to 12. My grandchildren live these books. Children love fun characters and great rhymes. They pick these books first.
