The tool you never knew you needed. Until now.
Whether you're looking to live out a lifelong aspiration of becoming James Bond or to have the ability to move sizable pieces of glass/ceramic? Look no further.I've had issues with my back for a few years after a pretty gnarly vehicle accident and bending down to grab things or carrying things like sheets of lumber or glass when moving, redecorating, or countertops during renovations has been legit miserable. Naturally I saw this incredible tool and knew I had to give it a shot. I can genuinely say it not only met and exceeded my expectations, but it blew them out of the water.I was anticipating the device to have a fairly weak vacuum pump and take quite a while to create a solid seal in addition to being concerned about the longevity of the grip the suction cup could maintain and if you had any doubt in your mind? You can rest assured this beast has the power to back it and makes lifting and carrying smooth surface objects a breeze. The battery life seems to be pretty solid and charging relative to the power is pretty fast. I REALLY appreciated the pressure gauge and indicators of when it's safe to lift with the suction cup handle, but more importantly that it didn't lose suction in the slightest even after carrying a few glass tabletops a decent distance. Not only achieved a childhood dream of a really powerful suction cup for totally legit adulting purposes, but gained a tool I have no doubt will be used a number of times in the not so distant future to come. Would definitely recommend.

This thing sucks!
I've never used an electric suction cup before, so I don't have any basis for comparison, but since I often am setting large format tiles and have a project coming up that involves manhandling about a dozen 4x8 sheets of melamine, I thought I would give this a try.First off, this comes with a plastic carrying case and a charging cord. The carrying case is adequate, but pretty lightweight with cheap plastic latches; while it's better than having nothing, I don't expect it will hold up to a lot of wear and tear. The charger is a non-standard charging plug; it would have been much nicer if it used a standard USB port so that you don't have to worry about losing the charging brick & cord. Overall the build quality seems pretty good, though right out of the box there was something on one part of the top of the suction cup that looked almost like aluminum corrosion, but it was on the plastic portion of the handle, so I'm not sure what that was from. Thankfully it wiped off okay.I tested this suction cup on a variety of surfaces, ranging from a quartz countertop, to a smooth finished wood (maple, so no open grain) surface, unfinished drywall, raw MDF and a smoother porcelain tile (it was a flat surface with no texture, but it also wasn't a glossy polished surface). On the very smooth surfaces of the quartz this thing pulled a (partial) vacuum very quickly and easily and maintained it with no problem. I was unable to budge this suction cup once it had reached its final partial vacuum state. On the porcelain tile, it took a little bit longer, but again got to a point where the pump turned off and it held very securely. On the drywall, the suction cup pump ran continuously and wasn't able to reach the same vacuum level as with the quartz and tile, but with the pump running I could lift the small sheet (about 18"x48"), but I don't think I would trust this with a full sheet. On the finished maple, it reached its vacuum, would turn off and then cycle on and off as the vacuum decreased and hit a lower threshold, but it held firm. On the MDF the pump ran continuously without ever showing it reaching any kind of partial vacuum and it was very easy to remove the suction cup from the MDF.So, my conclusion is that this works very well on solid surfaces that are pretty darn smooth, like glass, tile, stone, quartz, sheet metal, etc. I don't think I would trust this on other types of materials. Just because this is an electric suction cup doesn't mean it can work miracles. One thing to note is that this left circular marks on the quartz countertop that I test it on. I think it was surface oils or whatever from the rubber suction cup. It ended up washing off with a little soap and water, but I certainly wouldn't use this on a finished surface without first testing it on an inconspicuous area just in case it leaves a mark that you can't remove. This is a bit of a specialized tool, but if you need something like this, I can see where it would make your life a whole lot easier, so the price point is probably justified. I hope this will hold up over time.

Nice suction
I ordered this for a job where I was removing 5ft x 7 ft mirrors that were a 1/4 in thick. Those things were very heavy and this did the job nicely. I did wipe down the mirrors and added a little moisture to ensure the seal. Was perfect.

Strong suction, easy to operate, nice case.
The gripping Force is very good, and obviously the more non-porous the surface the better the grip. I love the feel of the handle and how easy the gauges to read. The case that comes with is a lightweight plastic but plenty durable enough to hold the device. The release is very easy to operate as well. This is coming in super handy as I move items in a position for mounting, as I don't often have a helper. Product very much recommended!

Works great on really smooth surfaces.
It comes in a hard case as shown. What is not clearly shown is a cover for the suction cup to help keep it clean and undamaged. I was a little confused at first, but it does say it comes in a sleep mode so after charging it you have to hold down the button to activate it. Once that happens, it sticks really well. I was not able to get it budge off the counter top. It's going to work really well laying these large tiles.Don't know how long these off-brand units with last, but for an occasional need and not a daily professional it should be just fine.100% recommended.
