Remarkable level of suction
The media could not be loaded. This is truly a remarkable unit. It's got an immense level of suction power. This comes in a very strong case with a charger and a protective lid including good clear instructions. On the usability, you simply remove the protection lid, which protects the rubber base and then place on the glass surface, or similar. Press the button which starts off the vacuum and the unit will grab on tightly. You'll be able to visually see the pressure on the gauge as the vacuum increases. When it reaches the limit, the motor within will stop and the vacuum will remain.I tested this on the side of my filing cabinet which is packed to the brim and pulled with all my might and it did not fall off or slip or slide. To remove, you are supposed to press the button again as per instructions which will release the pressure slowly, but as per my video, you can pull the side tag which can be used, should the battery ever be flat. This can be used for lifting floor tiles too, providing it has a smooth polished surface. You will need to test this thourly before you go ahead and use this in anger. To test, press the button, and check the vacuum gauge. If this doesn't drop rapidly, then you should be safe to use.One benefit this unit has, is that if whilst using, the pressure drops, it will auto start so you're not hit with a surprise if the pressure drops.A must if you want to use for glass or similar products.

Does not work with MDF
Bought this as the description said it was suitable for MDF. This is unfortunately not the case. I've tried it on multiple brands and it just doesn't work.

I like it
wanst sure what to expect from this suction cup - I have been laying slabs for years without the aid of one but curiosity got the better of me so I figured I see if they were worth having...the short answer is yes for many cases they are indeed worth having.Operation could not be much simpler - pop the cup onto whatever you ar wanting to lift, hold it flat andhold down the on button. The pump starts and a red LED lights when the correct level of hold is reached, a green LED lights and you are good to lift away. To disengage the cup simply hit the on button until the middle LED shows and the vaccuum is automatically broken.punp the plunger with your thumb until the on board gauge reaches the green and you are good to lift. al.I was extremely suprised just how powerful the hold the suction gives on to slabs - even very heavy ones, even 1.2m x 0.6m porcelain is held securely, although you still have to lift the bloomin things. The stated weight maximum is 230KG which if accurate is very impressive. For me these suction cups are a bit of a game changer: manoeuvering slabs is a doddle and it means no more getting fingers trapped when slabs are close together.Accessories wise theres a protective plate for the cup to sit on between uses to keep the surface clean in order to get a good vaccuum, a charger for the internal battery and a very handy but slightly flimsy blow moulded case.I really like this suction cup for slabbing but it is useful any time you are lifting anything that is awkward (providing it has a fairly smooth surface). At £50 for the price is very reasonable.

Seriously useful piece of kit
The media could not be loaded. How I wish we'd had this when we were fitting new cupboard doors some time ago as this suction machine can be used for a lot more than windshields. As well as glass, you can use it on metal, mdf, tile, plastic etc - as long as it's flat and clean so it doesn't impede the suction. It came charged, but there's a charge plug included to recharge when needed. It takes around 2 hours to fully charge, but there's an LED indicator on the plug which lights green when it's charged and red when flat. What's really useful is that you don't have to plug it into the mains for this indicator light to work, as the charge status will pick up merely by plugging the charger into the machine, so you can see straightaway if it needs a charge or not.The machine comes in a hard shell case with a carrying handle and side clips/locks, which secure two of the corners. The charger fits in the case too so you can keep it altogether and secure. It's not overly heavy either, but it definitely offers heavy-duty suction! It's easy to use: remove the protective cover on the base of the machine and place on the surface you want to attach it to. It's a one button operation - long press the on/off button to start the suction and the left hand LED lights up red, (there's a bank of 3 LEDs directly below the on/off switch), and you can hear the machine working. When it reaches the pressure needed for full suction, the LED on the right hand side turns green. You can also see the pressure level on a round gauge on the front of the unit.To say this thing holds fast is an understatement! Good luck to anyone who thinks they can get this off manually! It gets a tremendous hold of whatever you attach it to. My husband is extremely strong and he couldn't budge it!To release the suction is super easy - double short press the on/off button and the machine immediately releases the suction and the centre LED lights red to indicate this, enabling you to lift the machine off. There's a small tab on the base which you can use if you need to. A long press of the on/off button turns the machine off and that's it!This makes jobs so much easier and we're going to use this to stabilise an internal door that we are shortly due to hang. With a max load of 230 kilos, this machine won't struggle! The only problem I had was it started working once I put it back in the case, but that was because I don't think I turned it off properly! šI'm so impressed with this. It's a seriously capable and useful piece of kit. Definitely recommended.
