Perfect Turtle enclosure
This product was very easy to assemble with two people. It looks great, is sturdy and is a very nice indoor enclosure for my eastern box turtle. It arrived earlier than expected. Highly recommend.

Great for a small tortoise
This was perfect for our Russian tortoise. There’s a good variant for him to move about and regulate temp.Negatives are the smell when opened. We left outside overnight and it did dissipate.Suggested improvements would be a place for uvb light- to attach. A slide out tray or better way to clean substrate.Overall I recommend for the price/ Frankie Sparkles seems happy in it.

Lightweight and Sturdy Tortoise Enclosure
My box turtle needed some more room to be able to roam around a bit while still having a 'hide' to burrow in, something that my previous glass terrarium couldn't provide. This enclosure has the benefit of being pretty spacious while still lightweight due to the wood construction compared to my old one that's all glass. It comes flat-packed and includes all the hardware you need to assemble it, all you need is a Philips-head screwdriver and you're good to go. It took me about 45 minutes working alone to get it fully assembled. I was surprised that the bottom isn't solid all the way across but instead has two different elements for the 'open' and 'closed' sections. The larger open area has a solid panel with a plastic tray insert while the smaller closed area has two board inserts that are removable and rely only on gravity to remain in place. I like that the hinges come pre-installed on the compartment lids which makes it easy to place them correctly and screw them into the box frame so that there're no gaps or overhangs. The metal clasps keep things locked down securely and I like that the lids function separately, making it easy to do cleaning/maintenance on one section at a time without worrying about a potential escape. My turtle took to the new habitat right away, taking a bath in her water bowl and then exploring her new spacious hideaway with burrowing sounds heard not long after.

The privacy side needs work
I bought mine to use for chicks. The only problem is the bottom of the cage on the side without the wire lid. There is no plastic tray. Instead there are 2 half size wooden pieces. They are not waterproof and food, water etc can fall through it to whatever it is sitting on. Otherwise it has worked because I got a plastic lid off of a storage bin to fit in there.
