I’d been eyeing the fancy version with the aluminum collar for a while, but the price always held me back. I stumbled across this set and decided to give it a try—and I’m glad I did. I needed a reliable adjustable countersink and pilot drill for what felt like a thousand holes while gluing two plywood sheets together. This set performed flawlessly. The countersink is accurate, durable, doesn't mess up the wood, and saved me a ton of time by eliminating the need to constantly swap bits. Couldn't be happier.

It's perfect and very affordable.You can adjust 2 set screws, one to adjust the length of the main drill bit (i.e. how deep to pre-drill). The second set-screw adjusts the depth of the countersink.The rotating ring acts as an overall depth stop (but it does not mar the surface).The end result produces perfect and CONSISTENT predrilled, counter sunk, holesWould definitely recommend.

These are no Amana countersinks but they're about 1/10th the price. Amanas are about $45 each. This set includes the most common five sizes for $30.Minus one point for not being the best. Four points for being good enough for most uses, and very low price.

I've only used it a couple of time but each time it was easy to set up and it worked really well. I also really appreciate the case design making it easy to keep the entire kit together.

The media could not be loaded. Does the job. Accurate. Durable. Good quality. Labeled so you can keep everything organized and comes with good spare parts. I really don’t know how much more you can ask for, especially given the reasonable price. I’ve done a three minute review so you can see everything, but it’s one handed and not the best, so for you woodworkers out there I’ve also attached a lot of photos of this thing so you can see everything.It uses two set screws — one that mates to the cutting heads and another that holds the depth stop assembly — and you do have to crank it down to prevent movement. But it’s all metal and that seems to work great.I used it to drop proper depth into 3/4 plywood (prefinished birch) for a cabinet project and it worked like a charm and game me nice squared up stops.So, that’s all I can give you. Hope it helps someone out.

Good for the money

I'm working on a project where I need to hide the screws I set in the wood. This tool allows me to set the depth and not bother with it again. Every screw goes in the exact same depth every time. I just insert a plug and the screw is hidden. Worked great on the first try.

The only thing they can do to get a 5 star rating is to make the countersink blades out of carbide! For the price, it's a nice set!
