This is a good product. You can use a very small brush (either bristle or foam), Q-tips, or as I mostly use, a wool dauber. The viscosity is thicker than water yet still loose enough to float. One does have to be careful as it can run if initially applied too heavily. Definitely better to do several coats if desired for a thicker finish. Once well cured it remains flexible which means it has good durability. I use it at my shoe repair shop to add more depth than one session of friction applied burnishing wax over edge ink. It saves me time and makes for a more impressive finish. Most folks use it on straps and belts to make a more professional looking edge. My supplier for wholesale soles, heels, polishes, etc. doesn't carry this item so I either buy it here from Amazon or sometimes from Tandy Leather. Amazon is often the cheaper delivered price due to free and reliable Prime delivery and the occasional coupon. If there's a better edge coating I've yet to find it.
