Hard & Hot !
The product is absolutely what is described - a Solid tubeless tyre.........the clue is in the description. It is rock hard when riding and needed to be put into the tumble drier to make it malleable enough to fit onto the bike, supported by 3 pairs of hands to get it on! After riding with the tyres for a week, I have reverted to my old tyres with inner tubes, I was constantly hot & shattered through the hard work of cycling on the Solid tyres. I think I would rather repair all the punctures than suffer from the solid tyres!

There are pros and cons depending on what you need.
I've bought these tyres twice now. The front is still fine after almost a year but the back I've had to replace as frequent glass cuts had caused it to split down the middle. It's still rideable but I was worried what would happen when the split made its way right through the tyre. As the other reviewers have said they are very tight to get on. You'll need a motorcycle tyre lever, some soapy water, a strong cable tie and a positive attitude. The installation process can only be described as brutal. I didn't use any fixing pins and had no problems with the tyre coming off. It's so tight I really can't see how it could. the first set of these I bought have lasted less than a year on the back wheel. I do about 65 miles a week. They give a ride smilar to normal tyres at about 100psi. They weigh 100grams each more than the inner tube and kevlar belted tyres I had previously, you really notice the difference though! They took 3mph off my average speed. That lint roller effect another reviewer mentioned wears off after 100 miles of use or so. So they're cheaper but slower than normal pneumatic tyres but no punctures, look pretty when they're new and are good winter training tyres. When you get back on a normal set of tyres you can really fly!

Tight fit!
I purchased these for my road race bike. I knew they would be a good tight fit to get around the wheel but I managed on my own with cable ties, the levers used to change a normal tyre, elbow grease and some sweat. They look great on. Nice and bright. I cycled to work 9.7miles and they were fine. But on the way home I had a strange squeak as the tyre got to a certain area.. Hopefully they will be ok.
