Great Bed once you get it assembled
We got this bed as part of my 10 year old son's Christmas room makeover surprise. He absolutely loves it so far and we love the look and how it gives him so much room to play. He is into gaming so having the desk underneath for his laptop is amazing. The "bookcase/shelving unit" is exactly what we were looking for. It's very sturdy and the height is perfect since we have pretty tall ceilings. Other beds in major department stores that don't have some of the features of this one were atleast $100-$200 more. Like most other reviews I have seen, the assembly is very time consuming but not near as difficult as I thought it would be after reading other reviews. We took everything out and looked at the instructions and had every part for each step laid out before we even started putting it together and we think that really helped. It took 2 of us about 5 hours to put it together but I was also in and out wrapping other presents for some of it. My Husband is the type of guy that can literally fix anything and builds stuff all the time, he even makes home made knives, so that helped majorly having someone who is a "handyman". Best piece of advice is just go into it knowing it's going to take a while and might be tedious and just roll with it, because once it's done it is so worth it! I HIGHLY recommend this bed to anyone that either has a small space, has kids but they don't share a room so don't need a bunk bed but want to sleep up high or have the desk underneath like my son did, or anyone that just wants a really cool bed.

Need to pay attention during assembly
This is a sturdy, well-made bed frame that should last a lifetime. There are a few problems with assembly, however. On the right side, the vertical support at the front right corner of the shelves doesn't attach to the front-to-back crosspiece because the screw for the long side-to-side front edge of the desk blocks the screw that would otherwise attach it. I suppose you could screw in the vertical support (the holes are all there), but then you wouldn't be able to attach the crosspiece on the right side. Once everything is together, the vertical screw isn't needed as the right side of the desk support isn't going anywhere, but the instructions imply that you can attach both. You can't - the screws would cross each other. There are also several situations where it's not clear from the instructions which way to orient a component, and it makes a difference. You have to look a few steps ahead to figure out which way several pieces are supposed to go. If you don't do this, you may have to partially disassemble it to move the component around. For example, the short supports for the desk must be oriented with the larger holes on the bottom, so the screws that hold the desk pieces in place can go inside the supports. They're not long enough to attach from the outside. This brings up another challenge - the desk screws attach from underneath, so you have to balance them on the tip of the screwdriver and move them into place without knocking them off - if you do, you may not be able to get them out of the crosspiece without removing it. The supplied screwdriver is a joke; you need a full-size one to allow you to generate enough force for the screws to start their own holes in the wood.Attaching the lowest shelves will require you to tip the entire frame over far enough for you to have room to get underneath. The instructions don't say this. It may be possible to attach them before the metal parts are on the frame, but I didn't do it that way.The instructions also don't mention attaching it to the wall. While it's not going to tip over, it does move around as you climb onto it. I attached it with metal straps, which make it feel a lot more solid. Finally, the rungs are only three-quarters of an inch across - very painful for most adults climbing them barefoot. The set does come with extra screws and rubber end caps, a welcome addition as one of them was damaged and had to be replaced. The instructions don't mention this at all. Overall, it's a good frame but the mechanical skill required to assemble it may be beyond the abilities of some people. If you're not - how shall I put it - "mechanically creative" and if you get easily frustrated, you may want to hire someone to assemble it for you.

Classy looking loft bed
This was bought for my son for his bedroom. It is very strong and sturdy, and doesn’t shake around too much like a lot of other metal loft beds. It was easy to put together and helps maximize space in a small room, so it’s very functional. He loves the desk and storage shelves. He says it is comfortable to sleep in.

Missing half of the bed
Missing half of the bed. It was supposed to come in 2 boxes and I only received one. I waited tonsee if the other would come in, but it never did. Now I'm stuck with no bed frame and out of a lot of money.

Wouldn’t buy if you don’t read instructions
My son loves it but the assembly instructions are not for beginners and a couple of the frame parts were missing holes for screws it took almost 4 hours to assemble

Fun
I love it, my kid loves it which is who I bought it for. Assembly wasn’t too bad but by yourself it will be exhausting and took 5 hours with help you could probably knock it out in hour n half-2 hours depending on how many mistakes u make 😂 I made a few. Do not! I repeat do not! But the mattress before the railing cause then it’ll have issues lining up properly. Super sturdy, and I can move it around a bit without the shelves on idk about with them on. Worth the purchase though.

Over all good bed
Pretty easy bed to assemble with two people. The top of the desk on bottom came broken and I immediately emailed the customer service , 12/25/24 and no one has got back to me. Overall it’s a good bed, especially for a small space and my son enjoys it.
