Overall feature very good after a month usage. Pros : 1. Very easy to handle. 2. occupies less space. 3. Does grinding efficiently 4. Timer option is very much appreciated. Cons : 1. Transparent lid mounting design needs attention can fall off when opened and held!!(expect manufacturer to comment) 2. Slightly noisy compensated with performance:-). 3. Price is slightly on the higher side, hoping that will be compensated and excpecting a long life and reliable product.

We have been using an Elgi table top for more than 10 years without issues. When it came for upgrade, it was no brainer decision to go for Elgi brand. (older model still works and we donated it)Pros:1. Compact. Takes less space in your kitchen2. The grind stone is smaller and lighter (compared to regular models). Lesser weight and easy to clean.3. Grinds faster. Idli or chutney, grinding is done much quicker. Even medhu vada batter which almost no water, gets done well. Most of the time, grind is complete in less than half the time (than the regular model).4. Timer: After a few times of use, you will know exact time to let it run. You can start it and forget it. It automatically stops after beeps. No more extra running, saving electricity5. Entire system is slightly tilted at an angle, to make cleaning easier. I am not sure if tilting would affect life of the machine as it would cause uneven loads on the ball bearings6. Looks and feel solid.Cons:1. The grinder is noisy2. The lid cover hinge is poorly designed for runs. What ever you do, the lid touches the center shaft and starts vibrating (because of the rotation motion of the shaft). It adds to the noise. So we end up removing the lid during its use and put it back after use3. Machine heats up after 15 mins run. (Your job is typically done by then)Overall: If you want a compact, fast grinder, you should definitely go for this. After all its Elgi. If not for the lid design issue, I would give 5 stars

Positives:1. Super fast compared to all the competitors.2. Reliable. We are using it for last 2 years without any problem.3. Purchased it during offer times and got the best deal.4. Very easy to clean and use.Negatives:1. Size is small. So for a South Indian family of more than 4(ours is 6) we need to prepare the batter twice a week. So normally we go for a double shift/round on sundays. So during the second round temperature of batter is higher. So we counter it by adding ice and cold water.All small families should buy this product by closing your eyes. Definitely there are no competitor in this segment. Proud to have a Indian brand leading the world in this segment.

The manufacturers have innovated a lot keeping many practical things in mind and it shows. Great product!I've been using this grinder for the last two months and what a machine it has turned out to be.The batter comes out super fluffy, just perfect.The tilting shape helps easily keep an eye on the grinding.Very less noise.The timer option gives you a chance to just go and sit while it does its job.The conical stones work well, again, smart. The stones are slightly heavy though and cleaning them after the grinding is a bit of a task and not for the frail ones.But when you see the idlis and dosas look soft and yum, you forget the little hardships.Overpriced, i think, can easily be sold for less.This is my first grinder at home and had bought it when there were no reviews. Took the risk reading about all the innovative things they had done. Well worth it.Overall: Im super happy with the product

Loved this beautiful very fast and compact wet grinder....finishing of the product is great....the best I have come across in wet grinders...initially thought of purchasing mini in same ultra brand but this product caught my eye for ease of use and the speed with timer.....the battery from this product is of hotel quality and grinds batter without getting heated up.Highly recommend for people who love South Indian dishes like idli ..dosa and vada with chutneys.You can even grind chutneys with the chutney mode which turns the grinding stones both left and right for best grinding of lesser ingredients

It's not working after we unpacked and plugged in

I am writing this product feedback after 6 months of my usage.Pros:1. This product is very good, it grinds nicely with 20-25 min time. We are using it regularly for the preparation of Dosa and Appam batter. With one time grinding, you can have 40 to 45 Nos's appam/dosa batter2. Its very compact and saves kitchen space3. Timer is very useful, once you keep it for grinding, you can go for your other activities, since it works like a washing machine, stops automatically after finish the grinding. With initial 2-3 times you will come to know the exact time that you required and you can set it always this time for the future grinding.4. Really satisfied with the service. I was having a complaint of loose lid, and I called the customer care (at around 2 PM) and registered complaint, I got call from technician at 3 PM, and the technician visited and solved my issue at 5 PM. Within 2-3 hrs of time they have solved my complaint and I lives in Bangalore area.Cons:1. Initially we can not put the complete items all together. Example for 1 Kg raw rice/daal, you may need to put as 4-5 times along with water, else the grider wont works well.2. Chutney wet masala option is not works well for grinding cocunut pieces, you may need to put the grated coconut for better results.3. Lid design is not great, there is gap and can have chance of little batter can spread outside if you go with full capacity grinding.Overall: If you are a regular consumer of Appam/Iddly/Dosa, you can go for this product.
