Amazing Gaming Performance, absolutely phenomenal anything else performance
This laptop goes above and beyond what you can of it for its price point. Just having an RTX 4050 alone for $800 is insanity. This laptop should easily be $1,200-$1,400. The CPU is powerful enough to do anything you throw at it, I can run demanding games and have web pages up in the background, multiple apps running and CPU usage will be a measly 20-28%. The GPU performs as expected of a 4050, handles any game you can throw at it at max graphics settings with the added touch of Ray Tracing and DLSS compatibility. The screen is top notch at 144hz, i will however say the screen feels small if you’re used to console gaming on a monitor but once you’re used to it the screen provides vivid and beautiful quality performance at up to 144fps, although the GPU is so powerful it will absolutely try to run some games at 300fps is you let it. For the sake of computer health I recommend limiting its performance to 120-144fps. You absolutely never scratch the surface of using up the ram it has, I’ve maybe used at most 20% of it. The laptop also is extremely good at cooling itself, enough so that I was highly impressed. I can game for 8 hours or more and the GPU won’t get above 70 degrees Celsius which is a very very healthy temp. I typically limit the GPU to only use about 75% of its power at most so that I don’t overwork it, if you allow it to go all out then heating can become an issue. But letting it go all out is far far beyond what any gamer really needs. Obviously the 4050 GPU isn’t as powerful as a 4060, 70, etc but it is still a top of the line GPU and best in its price range. Biggest downfall with a 4050 is that native 4K just isn’t happening. It’ll run 4K but you’re asking a lot of it and depending on the game this can cause massive overheating. I only let it try 4K for about 2 mins and decided never again. Either way this laptop is the greatest purchase I’ve ever made when it comes to computers. I love it, I think it loves me, and by end of day tomorrow I’m gonna have Cyber babies 🤷♂️😉

Exceptional Performance and Value for a Mid-Range Gaming Laptop
After extensive research, I decided to purchase the HP Victus with the AMD Ryzen processor and NVIDIA RTX 4050 GPU for my son who is currently in AIT Ft Sill and he couldn’t be happier with the decision. This laptop offers an incredible balance of performance, build quality, and value, making it a standout choice for gamers and power users alike.Performance:The combination of the AMD Ryzen processor and the RTX 4050 GPU delivers outstanding performance. The laptop handles modern AAA games at high settings with ease, maintaining smooth frame rates and excellent visuals. Games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty: Warzone run effortlessly, showcasing the power of the RTX 4050’s DLSS capabilities. For multitasking and productivity, the Ryzen processor is equally impressive, effortlessly handling tasks like video editing, streaming, and running multiple applications simultaneously.Thermals and Cooling:One of the most impressive aspects of the HP Victus is the thermal management. Despite pushing the system hard during gaming sessions, the laptop stays surprisingly cool and quiet, thanks to its well-designed cooling system. This ensures consistent performance without thermal throttling.Display and Visuals:The 15.6” display is sharp and vibrant, with excellent color reproduction and refresh rates that make gaming and content consumption incredibly smooth. Whether you’re watching movies, editing photos, or gaming, the visuals are crisp and immersive.Build and Design:The Victus has a clean, modern design that feels durable and premium despite its affordable price point. The keyboard is comfortable, offering a solid typing experience for both gaming and productivity. The laptop is lightweight and portable for its size, making it easy to carry around for on-the-go use.Value:For the price, the HP Victus with the Ryzen and RTX 4050 combo delivers exceptional value. You’re getting a laptop that can compete with higher-end models for a fraction of the cost. Whether you’re a gamer, content creator, or student, this machine delivers the performance and features you need without breaking the bank. Conclusion:The HP Victus Ryzen RTX 4050 is an outstanding mid-range laptop that offers top-tier performance, excellent thermals, and great build quality. It’s a perfect choice for anyone seeking a capable gaming machine or a powerful work laptop. I highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for performance, reliability, and great value in one package.Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)

Great budget laptop!
I use this laptop for gaming and photo editing and it does both well! If you're one of those people who have adapted your eyes to only run 144hz plus this may not be the greatest but for casual folks just trying to have fun there aren't many better options at his price range

Great Laptop
I needed a laptop with great graphics to use with my golf simulator. This laptop is doing the job greatly, connects super fast, allows me to use my ethernet and WiFi with no problems at all and the graphics are fantastic. Memory is great as well. Screen could be more high definition but I connect it to my big screen TV and it works fantastic.

battery holds a charge for 10 minutes
It freezes all the time and needs restart. The battery lasts maybe 10 minutes so only to try and use it is plugged in at all times.

ONLY 16gb of ram
Great laptop but only has 16gb of ram instead of the listed 32gb but still worth the money.
