Braun Epilator for women- SE1000 Silk-épil 1, Legs & Body Hair Removal System

It works really well and I'm using it for three years and I'll give you my observations about this .It's difficult to clean but it's important you clean it before and after ever use else you will get bumps and acne and what not . If you clean it properly then your skin will not catch any such infections.It might get little warm if you use it for very long time like 40-60 mins , I'd suggest give a little break and use it again , in that way you are not irritating your skin.Use on dry skin , if you use on moisturized skin the hair that's puppled will stick to your skin and it gets so unhygienic ,you might get rashes.The place where you are doing this might get messy once your done because the hair just falls here and there so use a cloth or just clean it right after , if you don't it will stick to your clothes and skin. You know what preferably take a bath after this so your cleaning the skin.And it might not pull the entire hairs sometime , it might pull some hairs with their heads but sometimes it can still leave head like how shaving leaves . But this is 1000 times better than shaving definitely .You'll get used to the pain , for the first few times do it slowly in small sections.

Works well- tackles hair on arms and legs. It stings a bit at first but one gets used to it. Women know the pain involved in some of our grooming rituals and we adjust. It doesn't hurt any more than waxing does. It is so good to have this product handy with me - good for travel and I haven't had to go to the salon for hand/leg waxing, so it has been a money saver as well. I find it easy to use even on the back of legs, toes for a stray hair and armpits.

I bought this product probably in 2020-21 and I am still using it without any negative effect. The product is still as good as new. It is power backed with a two-pin plug that fits into your regular sockets. No strawberry legs or hand if you follow it up with a moisturiser. Epilating can be slightly painful in the beginning but since you have control, the pains goes away organically. Easy to clean and maintain. High Recommended.

This model does not have more and different shaving heads for all places and without that it is very painful to use it, it was assumed that all models come with a shaving head, actually we bought it for that purpose, now it does not serve the purpose, returning and buying another model,basic accessories are missing, why to introduce such models !!!!!!!!anyway if you send us the other accessories we will be highly thankful and we will give you money.

As all the other epilators i used, philips have same function... Previously i used braun epilator it too was good...Now the difference is that braun epilator is easy to use then philips, u can use braun epilators without any safty cover which is there in philips...philips epilator pinches u sometimes if u dont hold it properly but with braun u can go flowing over ur body but With practice u can master ur epilation technique...phillips have speed butons but braun works on single speedPhilips gives u safty cap which is very good for underarms and bikini line which braun provides only in costiler version but pls dont use for bikini it will definately hurt as that area is very sensitive then u expect... ya but if u r able to bear the pain then girls go for itprice way philips is slightly cheaperboth are from europe so they do excellent jobI still like braun much but philips is not bad at all as its trusted brand in india since my moms age...So either u buy phillips or braun u will get the same job done and better then PARLORBut i still recommend braun 1... for beginners then u can go with philips when u master...I have Genuinely reviewed it for u so u can compare the things and think and buy without any regrets... the best among allThanks

The media could not be loaded. First UseBraun is the best brand in the lot that sells epilators. As far as this variant is concerned, it is heavy duty and effectively does the job in removing hair. I have only used it on face as of now and all hair except the ones under skin were wiped clean. Ensure that you wash your face before epilation to remove any grease. I applied this on two weeks facial hair growth(including upper lips and chin) and I am pleased with the results. If your skin has any bumps or little abrasions, wait for them to heal and only then epilate-else there will be BLOODY Mary.Easy to cleanThis one is easy to clean. Just press the release buttons(little balls located on both sides) and pull the epilator cap out. Then immerse the cleaning brush in alcohol(I used sanitizer by the way) and clean the head. Then house it back to where it belongs. Rest of the epilator body can be cleaned using cotton ball dipped in alcohol but remember to not use cotton on the epilator head as it can get stuck.Down SideThe only down side of this epilator is that it heats up when you keep it running for a long time. Remember to take breaks. You already would need to halt the cleaning process in between to heave a sigh of relief at least for few moments. Then you can resume.Know the techniqueEpilation works best if you know the technique. Place it at a right angle to the direction of the hair growth and voila! Job done. Quick and Easy. Post epilation, remember to calm the skin down using an ice pack if you wish. Then follow the usual skin pampering routine.Go for Epilator not trimmerAnd please don't fall for other hair removing gadgets that list themselves under epilators but are essentially glorified trimmers.Happy EndingThis one's a pretty little gadget utmost needed in quarantine.

It's been four years since I bought it and I am still using it. I got it for a much smaller price too. It has paid for itself many times over by now. I like that I dont have to go anywhere to get waxing done and saves money.
