I read all of the reviews for these sugar-free ginger chews. Many people commented that they wish the flavor was stronger, more intense. Also several people said the packaging was very difficult to open. I've never tried these ginger chews before so I decided to take a chance in order the new double strength chews they are selling. I believe I'm the first to review this particular variety of these.I'm happy to report that I found them to be quite flavorful! I can definitely taste the ginger flavor and would describe them as slightly spicy. Also, I love that they are sugar free. So does my dental hygienist. She always wants me to stick with sugar-free things.As far as the wrappers being difficult to remove, I have not found that to be the case at all. I use the same technique as when I open a packet of ketchup or soy sauce, tear them from the end down the entire length of the package and so far the ones I've tried have opened easily without any scissors or struggles.Bottom line, yes these are a little bit pricey but they are some of the only sugar-free ginger chews I have found and I like the double strength version just fine. Yes I plan to reorder when I'm out.

They are the only zero sugar, natural sweetener ginger chews I can find. A bit pricey, especially for folks that don't want China edibles.

Compared to the original it's worth noting that the "extra strength" in these seem to bring out a lot more of the citrusy ginger flavor, but they are not necessarily spicier. They're definitely less "caramel" in flavor than the standard strength chews. Some of the packages can be maybe a little difficult to rip open, but I don't find them to be all that problematic, personally. You may find one or two in the mix that are hard or have hard sections, but I also don't find that to be too much of a problem for me.Overall quite good. It would be nice to have some spicy ones with this level of ginger flavor, but overall these are still quite good and I have them on a subscription to get some monthly to satisfy that sweet tooth in a sugar-free, non-bitter alternative (thank you so much for using Allulose in these so those of us sensitive to it can get sweet without that bitterness of so many other non-glycemic sweeteners!)

Has a kind of coating that I don't care for. I like that it is sugarfree and has good ingredients but that quiet the same flavor as others.

I didn't know whether to get the original or the extra strength first, so I went with the extra and am glad I did. These are it for me!The best thing about these is the taste! Amazing and spot on! Next is the easy-to-open individual candies. Some of the other ones have been a struggle of wills and fingers. These are easy every single time. And the size of the candy?!? It's two bites and they are perfect. You only need to open one of them and you're satisfied because of the size of each chew. And the last thing I love is it is just the right bite. Not too soft and not too chewy or hard. These are about as close to perfect a ginger chew as you can get.The only con? The price. At $27, I don't know if I can justify this as a regular purchase but I sure wish I could. Amazing chews though!

My recent order of march 2025 was very disappointing. As soon as I opened the shipping bag I noticed a weird odor. It was stronger when I opened the bag of chews. Would describe it as old or musty. Hesitate to order again. Have ordered many times despite the high price. Not worth in jesting a product of questionable quality.

Sweet and chewy with a strong ginger kick. Delicious!
