The magnet is definitely strong. I couldn't get it separated from the plate or copper sheets and had to get my son to help me. Otherwise, easy to assemble. The base and the arm are solid, well made metal components. It has a plastic nut (pictured) that could be the weak point of this set up. I'll see over time and use. Really looking forward to having a portable stand that will work with several different devices.

Love this monitor stand the only thing that is a bust is the sliver disk they give you to mount to back of the monitor will not hold. I had to glue it to the monitor!

The sticky magnet that’s supposed to go on the back of the monitor loses its stickiness in a short period of time. The magnet itself is very strong, but the monitor peels off the sticky magnet. Idk how others are able to use theirs without having issues. My portable monitor is only 10”. Shouldn’t be a problem but it is.

This is exactly what I was looking for to hold a portable monitor. The only problem is that I wasn't able to use the screws to attach the metal plate to the back of my monitor. I don't know if the screws were not threaded correctly or the monitors thread holes were wonky, but because I couldn't get the metal plate to attach, I had to use the sticker to attach the magnet, which keeps loosing it's grip and then the monitor falls off the stand. The only thing I can think of is to super glue the metal plate to the back of the monitor, but I really don't want to do that. I might have to take the metal plate and the monitor to the hardware store to test out some different screws. Hopefully, I'll find some.

Super functional stand. Sturdy build and modern design. Goes together very easily with detailed picture instructions. Very stable.

I didn’t actually open the box so I cannot comment on how well built or functional this product is.It came in the mail and it must have been 15 lbs! The goal of this for me was portability and this thing would have made me feel like Sisyphus on the way to a coffee shop. It als was quite large which is not what I was expecting.Back to Jeff it goes. If you are planning on leaving it on your desk it might be worth a look. If you want something portable look elsewhere.

Sturdy, amazing, easy to set up

Purchased for my 18.5" portable monitor, it works OK, it needs to weigh more to hold safely. It will balance it but it needs to be pretty much in the straight up position. I have put a weight under the base and it works as it should, just wish it hadn't tipped over with my monitor to find this out.
