These are quite high quality and look very nice. They have a decent weight to them which makes them good bookends, paperweights, or they’re nice enough to just be decorative pieces on their own. They have a felted bottom so they won’t scuff your furniture either. I like the detail of the statues being on a stack of books as well. They did over felt the bottom of one of them though and it curves up around the book and is visible but I’m sure I can remove the extra material with scissors if I want to. Overall I recommend these to add some artistic class to your home office or library!

These bookends are replicas of Rodin’s “The Thinker” but with a lot less muscle and a much younger, more attractive face. Instead of a plain base, this thinker sits on some stacked books. The bookends are advertised to be made of a resin and metal mix but they are heavy like metal and look like metal. These bookends are extremely hardy and should be able to hold up multiple books. I think these bookends would be welcome on any serious book lovers shelf. I took off one point because the bookends are very detailed and show a partial depiction of the male genitalia. That may necessitate placing the bookends on a higher shelf if you have young curious children. I plan to put these on the bookshelf of my home office to contain my favorite works of cherished poet/philosophers. How perfect! I recommend these bookends for yourself or for gifting.

I'm a little surprised these are on Vine as I know I've seen versions of these in the past, if not the same ones. These are solid bookends. The weight is appropriate for the task and they have nice detail and aesthetic value. These are nice. The price is very fair for the quality you get here. A solid offering.
