I hate buying new technology because I DREAD the setup process. But these were SO easy to set up, and worked immediately upon being plugged in. They're lightweight, manualyl tilt-able, and are a great size to view two documents on a single screen.

I stay at a relative's house a few weeks each year and need a monitor to work remotely, plus I play a lot of games on my Xbox. I wanted an IPS display for eye comfort, as I find cheap VA and TN panels very straining, and I needed 120Hz support to enjoy compatible Xbox games at 120fps. At the same time, I didn’t want to spend a lot on something that would sit unused for most of the year. So, I was astonished to find this monitor—an IPS display with 120Hz—for under $100.Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but this monitor is seriously impressive. Right out of the box, the colors look fantastic, and it doesn’t feel like a budget monitor at all. The only adjustment I made was turning down the "Black Boost," which was unnecessarily brightening dark areas. The overdrive feature also works surprisingly well, with minimal ghosting or overshoot.Here's why I docked one star: getting 120Hz on the Xbox was a bit tricky. It’s not plug-and-play; initially, there was no 120Hz option in the Xbox settings. However, after manually changing the output setting to HDMI, the 120Hz option became available. The downside is that this disables FreeSync entirely. So, you have to choose between 60Hz with FreeSync or 120Hz without it, and this limitation isn’t mentioned anywhere in the product info. I also struggled to find information about this on Acer's site.Even so, for the price—comparable to a used higher-end monitor from a few years back—I’m more than satisfied. If anyone asks me for a budget monitor recommendation, this will be my top pick.

This monitor is great quality! It is a little low on my desk and the stand isn’t adjustable, so I just put it on a shoe box and now it’s at eye level! The screen is the perfect size. I even recommended it to my coworkers for the few days we work from home.

I just bought this because of the low price and because it has a great contrast ratio spec. It's also an Acer, and the last Acer I bought was great, so I gave this a try. Very happy with it. Easy to assemble, bright, crisp and clean right out of the box. Highly recommended. I may retire of my old monitors and replace it with another one of these.
