Excellent Conference Speaker
There aren’t many reviews of this out in the ‘wild’, so was a little unsure what it would really be like, but with Amazons excellent return policy, there was nothing to lose.Firstly I have to say, like many of the products from Anker, Soundcore, Eufy etc. It comes well packaged, feels solid and well made. Also comes with many claims that are impossible to verify, other than real world use. It’s very easy to set-up, you can connect two Bluetooth devices at once, or one Bluetooth and hardwired device such as a laptop. It will prioritise calls over music and wont drop a call if another one comes in, that said, if you’re thinking of using this for music, I think you’ll be disappointed, great speakerphone but poor music. The big ‘claim’ is about the voice print, very easy to do via the AnkerWorks app, which is limited to updating the firmware, recording a voice print and some basic volume control. Recording the voiceprint is simple and once switched on really works. I’ve tried banging tables, clapping, hoovering and all sort of noise, but it manages to ignore it all, except for my voice.Overall if you work from home, this is a great device to have, I almost forgot the built-in MagSafe wireless charger, very handy for all those teams calls, whilst keeping the phone charged.

Dysfunctional in more ways that one
The buttons are badly designed and are unresponsive most of the time, plus the speaker is too dull and the volume too low for conversations. Needs an update to enhance speech. It can disconnect from devices and get in a muddle between the phone, mac etc, but once you get used to its flaws, it's an expensive, but decent enough device. The harder/dock part is excellent though. Charges very fast.

Expensive but premium quality with impressive noise cancelling technology
This is absolutely a premium product, just by price tag alone. It's build quality also feels premium - it is compact, stylish and has a weighty feel to it. How premium it is to use depends on if you use it to it's fullest potential. As a Bluetooth speaker, it's serviceable at best. The sound is warm with reasonable bass and clear mids and trebles but the power output is not anywhere as loud as a lot of standalone Bluetooth speakers. This isn't intended as just a Bluetooth speaker though for music, it is a premium quality speakerphone. The noise cancellation on this I think is excellent in the way it smartly adapts to eliminating background noise and learning what voice to pick up using some very impressive voice recognition technology. It seems really adaptive to me and has me impressed in how it can intelligently isolate your voice. The battery life seems very good to me (Anker usually is) and is rechargeable via now standard USB-C connection and it comes packaged with a suitably powerful 30W adapter. One thing I can't test is the magsafe Qi2 charger as it's not compatible with my phone, which is a shame as it looks great to be able to mount the phone on the fold out charge base and have it held magnetically. I imagine it is really useful for a Teams call on the phone by using the QiI2 charging base to hold the phone at a perfect viewing angle.

Great piece of kit
The AnkerWork S600 Conference Speaker has been a huge help for my virtual meetings. The 360° omnidirectional microphone ensures that every voice is captured clearly, even in larger rooms. AI-powered noise cancellation effectively filters out background noise, providing crystal-clear audio for all participants. The 70° adjustable magnetic phone stand is a thoughtful addition, allowing me to position my device at the perfect angle for video calls. The wireless charging feature is incredibly convenient, keeping my phone powered throughout long sessions. Compact and stylish, it fits seamlessly into any workspace. Highly recommended.

Disappointing and Overpriced : Updated
Update : Anker reached out to me directly and we’re great so adjusting to three stars.I recently purchased this smartphone speaker with high expectations, but unfortunately, it has proven to be a major letdown. For the price, I expected a significant upgrade in sound quality, but what I got was far from impressive.Firstly, the speaker quality is very tinny. The sound lacks depth and richness, making it unsuitable for enjoying music. Even for casual listening, the audio experience is quite poor, with a noticeable absence of bass and clarity. Its big trick is its AI voice enhancer but it’s not that good in reality.Given the high cost, I expected a premium product, but this speaker simply does not deliver. In hindsight, it would have been more sensible to invest in a pair of ANC headphones, which offer far superior sound quality and better value for money.Save your money and avoid this overpriced disappointment. Look elsewhere for your audio needs.
