Cannot get an accurate read even in the buffer solution.
We tried troubleshooting the issues with the calibration of this meter but nothing worked. We followed the instructions and used the correct type of water. The reading are always different in each of buffer solutions. Sometimes the readings just keep rising way past what is expected. There is no way we can use this and get a correct result even if we averaged the reads, the numbers swing too much. We will be returning this meter.

This is a wonderfully easy tool to use for your hydroponic grow. If you are looking at this, buy it.
This is a wonderfully easy tool to use. I was already on the money with where my ph was when adding nutrients to water for hydroponics, but this confirms that I'm not out of range where plants prefer.Always remember to cap it and turn it off.

Easy to use.
New to hydroponics and I have been using this. The first time, I ran both the meter and the regular water-test-kit pH test and they seemed to correlate. This meter is quick and as far as I can tell, seems accurate.

Does not calibrate or work properly.
This meter will not calibrate properly, despite following the directions exactly as they were written. Also they only provided two of the three chemical calibration packets. This device does not work properly, do not buy it, or you will be very sorry. I will be immediately returning this for a full refund.

What is the shelf life of the calibration packsts once mixed if stored in the refer?
Excellent meter with surprising accuracy.Comes calibrated according to my long trusted phstrips, though I've yet to test the calibration kit that's included. Great buy for the price.
