Was very easy and quick to set-up - even came with it's own tiny screwdriver! Worked straight away and feels very robust!

Bought a more expensive one, sent it back didn't work, ordered this one works perfect, I upgraded my ssd drive so now using my old drive as a external ssd drive with this. Only minus point it gets hot, I cured this with a USB fan 👍.

I needed an external M.2 enclosure, and this was the perfect solution for handling both NVMe and SATA M.2 drives without requiring two separate enclosures. Just make sure that it will fit your SATA, because not all match as you can see from the product listing.The enclosure is compact, barely larger than a standard 2280 M.2 drive. However, keep in mind that drives with heatsinks won’t fit and could risk bending the SSD connection. Installation is very straightforward, which is a plus.I tested it with a 2TB NVMe drive and achieved write speeds of 900MB/s over USB, which is more than sufficient for my needs. The enclosure does get warm during use, and the chassis can become hot.

Works perfectly, used to image onto an nvme drive. Place the drive in the new laptop and boom. Worked first time. Caddy highly recommended.

not sure but it did not work with my ssd drive i have ordered another ssd drive to test again

Could not get this to work. Led lights up but does not detect SSD. Have tried using different cable and changing all settings- stopped short of wiping the drive, but bought this to extract data as old laptop died. Unsure if SSD is corrupted or enclosure is faulty.
