Working Great and the speed is so much better using fiber cable. Cost of the cable is what first caught my eye and now that I have been using it is well worth the money you are spending. Using two 33 foot or 10 meter cables and both are working great. Being an all in one unit nothing else to buy other than the Fiber Cards. Will be buying another 33 foot cable for the new computer build. Length is as stated. Buying again.

I used the 5m length and it worked perfectly in my Ubiquiti UDM Pro. The cable was nicely packaged with small plastic caps covering the ends of the adapters where there are electrical contacts. 10gbps link, no errors. Good quality.

i have a few switch with sfp+ ports. i plug those AOC cable into the switch, and it work just fine. i was able to get the full 10g speed as well.

I had just tried a copper DAC SFP+ cable around the same pricepoint but was unable to link a connection. I thought maybe I wasn't understanding how to use these types of cables, but upon further research I confirmed it should have worked. I then ordered one of these AOC cables and right out of the gate it worked fine w/out any further configuration. I think the other brand copper DAC was DOA. For those in similar shoes, I connected to a mini pc that had SFP+ ports direct to a switch SFP+ port. Will post an update once it's been running for a while, but for now I'm happy with my purchase.

I'm doing some router building in my home office and wanted to take the work to an adjacent room (since my server rack is noisy). This was the perfect accessory to help with that. I've used DAC cables before, but this is the first that is "Active Optical." I can't really tell a difference between this and the twinax cables I'm used to, other than I'm conscious to treat it more carefully. That maybe a con, but it works fine.The little pull tab to release the transceivers is a little sticky and I feel like I'm risking breaking it when I remove them. But I don't think that's actually a real risk.

I realize this is a somewhat niche product. Most people are going to attach their own fiber runs to each end. But if you know you only need a certain distance and are unlikely to switch or upgrade the run this is a great option. Of course the downside is that if either module at the end, or the fiber, fails you have to replace the whole thing.I've been using this for a few weeks now and haven't had any problems.

This is for the people who don't want to have to worry about pairing up their SFP adapters.It just is the whole cable, complete run. No problems.It is exactly what I was expecting. 10G throughput, and easy to run.Great way to upgrade your home network to fiber.
