Great to carry around!
I was hesitant when I ordered this Bible because some of the reviews said the font was too small but I’m so happy I went for it. Although the writing isn’t giant, I don’t find it difficult to see and I have a heavy eye prescription. The Bible is a perfect size to carry around which I have never found in a journaling Bible! None of my previous journaling bibles have been small enough to carry to church but have space for notes and print I can read while listening to the sermon! Strongly recommend! I always updated my reviews if things change so time will tell if it holds up to the heavy use it will get!

Pretty awesome
You can't always go based off the images in the product description. I'm glad this bible came out better than what they advertised. I was concerned that the green spine of the book would be some shine green cardboard and the cover be cloth overboard because that how it appears in the Amazon images, thankfully it is all cloth overboard. I took this photos with a Zebra midliner (which I'm sure many of us are well acquainted with as it is the best bible highlighter on the market) for size reference. My only critique is that they could have made it a smidge bigger to have more room for writing. Otherwise a wonderful bible.

Lovely Personal Sized Bible
This Bible is beautiful and well-made. It's smaller than I expected, but that's a plus because it's easy to carry. The font is small, so it's fine if you have good eyesight or if you’re using it mainly to cross reference. However, the packaging was poor, and the spine was damaged, which could have been prevented. This has been mentioned in other reviews of this style of bible so it’s disappointing that there has been no resolution. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Great Journaling Bible, but the type is a little small
I really like this Bible. The ESV is a great translation, and it's got footnotes at the bottom of most every page to expand on words, translation choice, etc.The one thing with this particular journaling bible, is it seems the print is really small. The footnotes and verse numbers are easy to get mixed up since the verses are still numbered, but put together in paragraph format. The footnotes are also numbered, but slightly smaller in the text. The footnotes themselves are have a very small print.I know space is an issue when you add lines in the margins for notes, but a little bit bigger text would have been helpful.Other than that, it's a nice-looking bible. The cover isn't smooth, it's slightly rough in texture which is okay, but doesn't feel as great in the hand. That's a personal preference though. It's a great way to study the bible.

Single Column Journaling Bibles are the way to go if you want to take lots of notes
I already have a single column journaling Bible (the upper one in the picture), which is the ONLY way to go if you want to take lots of notes. My current one, however, is large print, which actually gives you more room because there are fewer printed words on each page, so more overall room to write. The Artist Series ESV Bible is much smaller print, which should be fine if you're young and have great eyesight. It's a nice hard-cover thick Bible that should last years. It doesn't have lots of built-in notes, which can be hard to follow (make your own notes!). It does have a Table of Weights and Measures and Monetary Units at the back and a Through the Bible in a Year Reading Plan, but no Concordance. Overall I would highly recommend this Bible provided the smaller font isn't too hard for you to read. :)
