Super versatile peg system
This pegboard system is a little pricier than some because it's freestanding. The legs allow you to set it up anywhere. The whole thing comes together with a professional look without commercial grade pricing. The thing is heavy. Have a dolly or help on hand if you aren't comfortable picking up 80lbs. I guess you could also open the box on the porch and bring it in in pieces. The pegboards and shelving are perfect for desk behind one leg of a corner desk. I have a pretty involved monitor setup that forces me to keep the desk off of the wall by about 10". This system brings the wall back closer to the desk so I can have a normal hutch/cubicle amount of space available.Assembly is possible with the included tools but I found it helpful to have my drill and bit set on hand to speed up fastening. That said (as others have said) be sure to keep connections loose until it's all together. It'll save time overall even if it feels like more work to go back and bear down. A medium setting on an adjustable drill would be good. If not, the impact drill should be fine, too. I'm a big proponent of using threadlocker on this kind of stuff so you don't have to inspect it later. A small bottle is cheap and will ensure everything stays put.I like that the shelves overlap the brackets. I added a couple self tapping screws to keep them from popping up (I'm clumsy sometimes and would probably knock a shelf up eventually). I had one that seemed a little off, it didn't fit at first. After hooking one side I was able to pull it over the other without any real issue. The finish is nice. It looks alot like the "hammered black" finish available in spray cans at the hardware store. - makes touch ups easy.Keep the front feet tall (shelves won't be level) to have it tip back a tiny bit toward the wall and it will be more stable than being actually perfectly level.

Better than I expected, some flaws
This thing is solid, stable, and looks good. Putting it together went well but I wish the instructions were more clear with the visuals. Tip, don't tighten anything on the frame down fully until the end. Keep in mind, the feet on the bottom ARE ADJUSTABLE. I do agree with one comment mentioning that the solution provided to anchor to the wall is no good. For my use case, I don't need them. I do wish this was a bit less expensive.

Pretty great
I assembled this alone, and it was fairly easy. It's very stable and is a great product to organize tools and household items.

Massive. Multi purpose
I have wanted a pegboard system for my office for a while and have actually bought a few pieces of that cheap board stuff from the big box store. When I saw this I jumped on the chance to get it and didn’t really look at the size or weight. Oh, wow. This thing is massive. Description says it is almost seventy pounds which I can believe. I couldn’t lift the box and had to move it in pieces to where I was going to assemble it. Assembly is relatively easy but this is cumbersome and will take a good amount of space for set up. All parts are labeled on the outside of their bags so you don’t have to remove a sticker but you won’t want to take pieces out of their bags until you’re ready to put them together. The instruction manual is pretty good save for one part and the only problem I had was with the center support and attaching the horizontal beams to it. The manual isn’t very clear and it took me a few minutes to realize that you need to layer the pieces. Not sure if my pictures will help clarify this. I also found that installing the feet on the bottom of the supports early on is much better than near the end which is when it was suggested. The pegboard panels are a nice sturdy metal but I found that the tabs are easily bent and so I had to bend a couple to get them to fit in the support. Since I won’t be moving the panels around often I don’t think this will be a problem later on. The whole thing is quite sturdy and the support legs hold this up quite well.I plan on using this behind my desk and freestanding to give me more shelving. This would also work well in a garage, craft room, or kitchen. I gave it four stars for the lack of clarity in the manual for that center support and for the easily bent tabs.My Amazon rating system-Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function.Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is.Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product. Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else. One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else.

I normally would not write a review like this, unacceptably bad drywall anchors
Let me start off with why I am giving this just one star.Usually I would not write something like this but for the sake of safety and for those with small children, people should be aware. With the mounting hardware included, these shelves are unsafe.Due to probably just cheaping out, on a 280 dollar shelf mind you, Two Hundred and Eighty Dollars. The drywall anchors in this kit are absolutely abysmal, do not work at all, rip out of the wall easily and render this shelf incredibly dangerous and unusable. Some bookshelves I got for significantly less than these, came with more (spares as well), stronger and more robust, actually locking drywall anchors that DO NOT BUDGE.The ones in this more expensive shelf, ripped out of the wall with a light "lets make sure this is solid" tug.Just slid on out of the wall, no resistance, as if they were not even there.Until this issue has been addressed by the manufacturer, not just for me, but for ALL the kits out in the wild.Avoid. Avoid at all costs. These are heavy shelves and if they fell on a kid they could be seriously injured or worse.
