One of the most important features for me was finding a timer that was completely silent - no irritating ticking sound. I did a lot of research before purchasing one of these visual timers and I was shocked to find that most of the other brands ticked. I had to really read the fine lines to find one that had a truly silent mode. Most shoppers do not know this - they assume all of them are silent and they are not. No one wants to hear an irritating sound of a clock ticking. I love this one! It is the perfect size for me at home because I can see it across the room. It was exactly what I was looking for! You can hang it, stand it or use the magnet on the back. It is professional looking enough for me to use it at work. I chose the black frame with the blue knob. I did not want one that looked childish or whimsical. It is the perfect look in an office or for a family with growing kids. I totally recommend this timer! Check the size because it is a bit larger than you might expect but I love it especially to use at home.

I loved this timer! It was great for my 11-year-old ADHD son that has no sense of time and is very visual. It helped him see how much time he had left to finish his chores. It was easy for him to set. The alarm wasn’t too “alarming” for him, but it got his attention. The battery life was very long! It worked fine…until a very nosy cat knocked it off the floor, to its doom. We can no longer set it. Looking back, if I had realized there were magnets on it, I would’ve put it on the fridge where the furry feline fiends couldn’t reach it. Sigh. But it was totally worth the price! I highly recommend!

First on works great! Students love the visual check when finishing things like bell ringers or partner work.Purchased a second one and it was not as loud as the first one but still good as a visual. I do wish they were equal in sound quality though.

Works as hoped and most importantly, my 5yo is excited to use it. Silent mode and beep mode is nice too.

I use this mostly for chores or tasks around the house. Helps stay on task. I like that it has both stand and hang options, I can set it on a surface or hang on a regular pushpin easily.Has a alarm option for when the timer ends. That lasts a long time but turns off eventually otherwise you can twist in on and off again quickly to turn off manually . Very annoying and loud sound for better or for worse.I've had it for a few months no issues and is super cute

I’m a teacher and this timer was exactly what I was looking for in my classroom. It gives a visual of how much time is left and really helped myself and students. I used it daily, and multiple times each day.Recently it has started to get stuck when it gets under 5 minutes. The light will stay on, but it won’t move to zero and won’t alarm that time has run out. I’ve tried changing the batteries but nothing seems to work. It’s really frustrating since it was such a highly used item in my classroom.

Love the large size and magnetic back that attaches to my refrigerator. So easy to use and set with the simple dial. Option to use with or without the alarm and 3 choices of alarm volume. Looks nice. One reason I bought this for myself was because I was tired of times I set out to do a thing but ended up getting sidetracked by something else. Makes it instantly visual how much time is left to get things done. Just takes a quick glance to see how much time is left for cooking, the laundry, expecting a visitor, and so on. Quick to set so you don't forget.
