Alot of these drift cars in this price range are. Everything is incased so won’t be easily changing out parts..etc You’re not adjusting anything, you’re not changing out modules but you can get to them if you take the main cover off for any maintenance.This is pretty much an all plastic design. Although I can’t see it, i would imagine that many of the gears are plastic as well.The shell is not very durable, and neither is the spoiler.You do get headlights and taillights, which activate when the car is moving.Performance:There are no additional speed controls for this. It's simply based on the push/pull of the trigger. There is 1 switch on the remote to turn it on. 1 switch on the car as well.It’s actually quite responsive, though with the race tires on. You’ll get some pretty quick stops and quick enough acceleration. If you switch to the drift tires, this is where you get the fun, so you can slide around (make sure you are on a smooth surface). If you feel bold, you can also swap in a set of the grip tires and the drift tires for some extra nonsense.There is a tire adjustment switch on the bottom of the car if you need to change the steering a bit.-Overall most of these drift cars around this cost all run about the same design, specs and performance. This one is made for kids and I think for kids they will still enjoy it if they want something basic, and safe enough they can drift around the kitchen floor with for example. The speed is also safe for kids. You can setup the little plastic cones or other objects and learn to drift around them. I still recommend it for the little ones, but just understand that you are getting a basic drift car.

We've had hours of fun with it. The quality is lacking and it doesn't do well on carpet. Outside of that it's lot of fun. It's easy to put the other set of wheels on and the battery last for a while. Not a bad little car over all.
