Works exactly as advertised
This little machine pulls so much moisture from the room. I've pulled a quarter cup of liquid in 12hrs from the reservoir on the first day. It works great, easy to use and great value. There is a little hum but not really noticeable. I would recommend to anyone trying machines to see what is the best fit.

The ease of removing and empty the water bucket "no sicking." It was small and quiet I was very happy !

This little thing is mighty! It does an amazing job of collecting moisture in my room. I can definitely tell a difference when it is running vs when it is off.

A Bag of Rice would be more effective.
I bought this dehumidifier to aid in drying our basement after some flooding. I already owned 2 full size dehumidifiers and wanted another unit to cover more of the basement at once. I bought this because of next day delivery. This dehumidifier is smaller and less powerful than it looks in the pics and description.In a soaked basement room with a wet carpet and fans, my older dehumidifier extracted about 2 Gallons Per day. This little thing only got about a pint per week.I have tried this dehumidifier in a variety of locations and conditions within my house. It has never pulled an even remotely useful quantity of water from the air. In 3-4 months of continuous use, it has only removed a gallon or two of water total. A can of damp-rid or a large bag of rice would be more effective and cheaper for dehumidification.On the plus side, it is very quiet. But a Bag of Rice is even quieter....

Life saver
For us, the comfort this provided is worth the price ten times over. Our space was very humid this past summer/autumn, but this completely solved that issue. Plug it in, turn it on, and it gets right to work, and work it does!

Quiet and attractive
This dehumidifier is great for a small space where it is visible, rather than hidden in a basement. The outer case is clean and modern-looking, and the light features are great to use as a night light or ambiance. I was impressed by the quiet operation. I could barely tell it was running. That said, it was a bit slow to pull moisture from the air, but it was not an extremely humid day.

compact and does well taking humidity out of air
I purchased this dehumidifier to take the humidity out of the air in my house, as my home doesn't have central air conditioning and we have been having some humid weather over the last few weeks and I think it worked very nicely for what I had in mind to use it for. I also like that it's easy I think to empty the water out because the container on the unit pulls out really easily and goes back in easily too and I like that you can see the water level on the front of the unit too.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase of this dehumidifier
