Who says this product is only for teens 16-18 years old? I am finally getting around to going for my UK drivers licence and these have helped me a great deal.I see that one reviewer doesn't appreciate that some flash cards have lots of writing on them bc the purpose of flash cards is to give information "Short and Sweet." But for me, flash cards are good not bc of the amount of information on them but rather because they can easily be carried in my handbag - smaller and lighter than a book when I want to review driving rules while waiting in the doctor's office or sitting on the train.

I've bought the book and cards as revision aids as I was using an app orginally but wasn't as helpful. The book is great set out in sections and has quiz questions at the ends of each chapter with info bites and the flashcards have lots of info on for signs and road markings I found them easy to use. Good price and helped me past my test confidently

This is a really good set for anyone revising for their theory test, not just 16-18 year olds. It's the official, latest edition Theory Test book so is for anyone no matter what age. The book is good quality, glossy cover and quality paper pages. As it's the official book from the DVSA, all the sections are broken down in to sub headings and the questions are presented in the way the actual theory test would be. The answers are to the side of the questions and explain the correct answer rather than just stating which of the answers would be correct, which helps with the understanding of why the answer is what it is.This set also comes with a pack of flash cards to aid revision which is great, especially if just going through a book isn't your way of learning. There are 128 road signs, 2 per card, with the images on one side and description on the back. The cards are good quality and fit in the palm of your hand and come in a box like a pack of playing cards, making it easy to take with you for on the go learning. I think the flash cards are a very useful tool in helping people learn the road signs, my only niggle with this, and the reason it lost a star, is because flash cards are meant to be quick and simple. Some of them are but others, as you'll see from the examples in my photos, have a long description on the back for what the picture is and I think that defeats the purpose of a flash card, it's should be short and to the point. Price point is slightly on the high side if you compared the set to buying just the book alone, but definitely helpful having the flashcards included. Good to buy for yourself or anyone you know who is learning to drive and needs to study for their theory test.
