Excellent but not perfect
I sued to love buck weat kasha growing up in the USSR. Served with milk and honey or butter for savoury garnish it was delicious. Many years later I tried to buy buckweat ion health food shops but it was always a dissapointemnt - after cooking it turned into mashy mess, only good enough to seal your windows, yukkk. But this one tastes and looks as I remember. It does not fall apart during cooking and stays nice a firm. Lost one start because its full of unshelled groats which are black. You have to take them out one by one as they are hard and not very nice to eat. I does bring some nice childhood memories of sitting with gandma at a large table picking our the black groats out of piles of buckweat. Not much fun these days though!

Very good quality!
We have switched our diet to gluten-free for a few years now, and found out about the benefits Buckwheat from some health articles recently. We tried this brand and were so happy with them that we have now "save and subscribe" the product from Amazon. I cook this like how I would cook rice, and they turned out beautifully fluffy and delicious. I am now slowly phasing out rice from our menu, to replace it with Buckwheat Groats. If this company maintains their good standard of this product, we will continue to buy them and have no reason to buy from somewhere else. Highly recommended!!

Tasty goodness
I've never cooked or eaten buckwheat groats before, so I thought I'd start with a 'porridge. ' I cooked 50g of groats in some oatmilk with goji berries, then added some chopped nuts, blueberries, a dollop of Greek yoghurt and a little agave nectar. The result? A beautiful, filling bowl of deliciousness that kept me going for hours without feeling bloated. I loved the flavour and texture, and they are really filling, so good value for money as you don't need a lot. Planning on using them in savoury dishes and will be great for salads. I haven't bought buckwheat groats before, so can't compare this company with another, but based on my experience I'm happy to buy from LOOV again.

Brought by mistake
Brought instead of puffed and the instructions are for a foreign measurement so it's complicated to know how to cook
