This set is a beginner's dream. It's got everything you need, plus it plays and sounds nice. I wish this kind of stuff was around when I first started playing. I've tried out a lot of stuff from Fesley, so I expected it to be good. Well it's very good! Guitar feels solid and well made. For the price, the pickups are definitely acceptable. Everything works as intended. And you get a nice gig bag and a ton of accessories. Now of course the amp does not sound amazing, but it does what it's supposed to do. For a first timer, this package has literally everything you need to get started. Great deal for sure.

I am writing this review off two of these that I have purchased. This factors in one bad experience.One arrived with a shipping box that appeared to be in good shape -- no crushing or signs of impact, yet the guitar came with major damage. The finish was broken, chipped, cracked where the body rests against your ribs while playing. That part of the box looked intact. Also, the pickup selector switch would not click -- it just slid up or down. It turns out, the whole switch was cracked and blown through the bottom as if something massively heavy crushed the guitar. I can't say for sure, but it seems as if this happened before the item was boxed and shipped, otherwise I assume the box would have shown signs of damage.I have the black version of this exact model (kit) and it is very good. I really like the looks, feel and playability. One came set up very well and the other took significant neck adjustments to get the relief correct. This shoudn't cost much at a guitar shop if you need to have someone do it for you. There were small specks under the clear coat of the undamaged one, but I think it adds character and I really don't mind. The nut was cut a bit too high, which can affect tuning and intonation (and comfort), but it is comfortable to play. The accessories are of above average quality:*The strap is very good compared to others and looks good. Nice material and design.*The tuner works very well and is easy to use and of good quality.*The capo is FANTASTIC. It is THE VERY BEST I have ever seen in a kit like this. It's metal, too. I'd pay $20 for it.*The amp is very good. It sounds pretty good and is easy to use. The clean and overdrive channels are both very playable and better than their competitors. The rechargeable battery and bluetooth features make it a GREAT value. Eventually you'll want a louder/bigger one. Keep this for travel and as a bluetooth speaker.*The picks look and feel good. I wish there were multiple thicknesses included instead of all being very thick.*The strings are cheap, but good to keep in case you break one. I suggest buying a name brand set (they're inexpensive).*The gig bag is impressive. It looks great and is of very good quality compared to others.Overall, I am impressed. Fesley seems to be one of the companies that is raising the bar for budget instruments and kits.BUT, the customer service is not the best and apparently, their handling of shipments and orders could be better. However, if you buy through Amazon, you should be taken care of.

The guitar is beautiful but my son has used it two or three times since Christmas and a string is already broken. Tried to restring it ourselves but cannot. Need to take it to a guitar shop. Not happy.*UpdateI have never dealt with a company that held custormer service anywhere near the level this company does. Olivia reached out to me several times since the purchase to see what could be done to rectify the situation. I am just shocked by her kindness, attention to detail, and love for what she does. How refreshing this interaction was in a time where no one takes responsibility for anything. Thank you, Olivia, for caring about your customers. You were a pleasure to work with.

So when I got it I needed to tighten truss rod a little the action was very high so I tightened truss rod 1/2 turn and then adjusted saddle height, honestly love the sound it seems the humbucker is a microphonic pickup, but I could be wrong, overall I added video so you can hear the tone through my spark amp running a valeton gp200 I will keeping this and upgrading down the line,Tuners are iffy but hold a tune, even with the whammy bar lightly used. So accurate intonation, definitely beginner friendly! May need a tune up on arrival if you have 0Idea how guitars work, I barely know and I was able to set to my liking.A little grinding on frets when I bend notes but not crazy, playability is there I was having fun with it tonight I still like my fender more but this is not bad for the 170 price tag the fender was 1k.Functionality is there they give you everything you need to play out of box, the amp is cheap but really can you complain about that? Great guitar for the price.The amp does not work. Will be reaching out to seller so I don’t have to drop stars.

Terrible guitar!!! Do Not Buy!! The guitar arrived totally un-playable. First, I came down with the flu and was not able to address why the strings were at least 9/16" higher than the neck/frets. Also, the tuning machines serving the G and B strings spin 360 degrees not tightening or loosening the strings , tuning those strings. When I was no longer sick & able to drop off my guitar for a set-up with Guitar Center, their tech called me stating the neck was bowed & he was un-able to adjust the truss rod as it was stripped. Now, it's been over 30 days since my purchase & I cannot return it to Amazon as they only provide a 30 day window for returns. I strongly recommend that nobody purchase a Fesley as mine is junk and I further recommend guitar purchases NOT be made off Amazon!!! I have played on & off since 1977 and I made the mistake of trusting both Amazon & Fesley. I will be purchasing a Fender Player 2 next direct from Fender this time. I wasted over $200 on this Fesley piece of junk and am very disappointed with my purchase!! Do not buy a Fesley, spend the money for a real guitar!!

This was a 20th birthday gift to our son. Arrived in great condition and he loves it. Everything as described. The seller even messaged to make sure. Definitely will be ordering with them again.

Guitar, the carry bag and accessories are amazing and definitely worth the money! The amp though charges and is extremely tiny so not sure how I feel about it but everything else is great!

Really nice started guitar. The amp is small but very loud and clear. It’s a great buy overall.
